So every person who has beaten Baldomir deserves credit for beating a tough top WW?

We will have to disagree there.

It meant a title in another weight class.

That has legacy implications whether you like it or not.

No doubt! I also agree with your stance on Floyd....I wouldn't call it out right ducking but he has made some very calculated decisions on whom he faces in the ring.

I would put it up against any of them except: Sugar ray robinson, you cant compare overall records of guys who faught 100 times or more with guys who at the most now will fight 50-60 times. but all the other ones yeah ill put it up against them, Sugar Ray Lenard is my all time favorite. but im still pissed he didnt fight the hawk, but he gets little flack about that, Manny gets little flack for fighting converted southpaws, without educated right hands, Im no floyd superfan, this fight with shane is the first one IMHO since tyson v lewis that is actully worth getting an esb logon to even talk about.

He said he made 12mil not 20mil, which may have still been a lie but who knows.

Mayweather spanking Baldomir around for 12 rounds is the main reason why Baldomir is considered a joke these days. Baldomir was undefeated for 8 years prior to the Mayweather fight with some big names on his card. If Mayweather didn't fight him, he'd be on this magical list of fighter who Floyd ducked.

This whole ducking thing is quite silly.

At the time, Baldomir was the recognized champion, the man, whatever. Spin all you want, but at the time he was defeated by Mayweather, he was the lineal 147 pound champion.

To answer your question: If every other person who beat Baldomir beat him when he was the lineal 147 pound champion, then yes, they would deserve credit for beating a top WW. However, every person that beat Baldomir did not beat him when he was the recognized lineal 147 pound champion. Only one person did that: Mayweather.

No he wasn't. It was a shock when Judah lost to baldomir, and it embarrassed him and cheapened the judah/mayweather fight.

Just because a bum ends up with a title, that doesn't make him the man. Sorry.
If beating Zab Judah made you the man, then Kostya Tsyzu and Cory Spinks already own that 'title'

Honestly bro....Baldo's claim to fame was beating an over confident Zab! That was the ONLY reason he got a shot at Floyd. Zab was suppose to WALK ALL OVER Baldo before the fight. That was a HUGE upset. I doubt anyone would say Floyd ducked Baldo to be honest.

You think Mayweather is the only guy who could have beaten Baldomir after he beat Judah?
    You're ****ing insane.
Get out of here with this pseudo logic.

Very true! I remember the Zab vs Floyd fight was in question after the loss to baldo. But Baldo was "considered" the man b/c he beat the Man at the time at 147 which was Zab. Now I feel that Zab would beat Baldo anyday of the week but he didn't take Baldo seriously and paid the pieper.

If its a logical fight then you can't blame Mayweather for taking it and passing on Margo. At that time Baldo looked like a better legacy building fight then Margo did. Plus Margo was still young and was thought to be around awhile. If he fought Margo he may not have been able to fight Baldo. While if he fought Baldo he would still have the opportunity to fight Margo.

This comment, again, shows you do not know wtf you are talking about.

Tsyzu beat Judah at 140, not 147 for one.

Second: Judah rematched Spinks and knocked him out to win the undisputed 147 pound title.

Baldomir then beat Judah, who was "the man," and became "the man."

    Mayweather beat Baldomir....

Spin all you want, but you obviously do not have a freaking clue what you are talking about. As usual......
