I don't blame him for taking the fight.
I just don't think it means jack **** for his resume.
    That's all I am saying.

I don't use donny lalonde as an example of how amazing leonard was at LHW

Again, you are talking nonsense. I never made that comment or even implied it. Apparently, you are too stupid to even understand what I just wrote to you.

There very well could have been several opponents who could have beat Baldomir and took the undisputed 147 pound title for him. However, the person who did take the title was Floyd Mayweather, not these other hypothetical match ups with other fighters.

I don't deal in what ifs, I deal in what actually happened. Maybe you should join reality too?

    And?
    What's your point?
I'm saying it's sour grapes, you're claiming something different?

This was similar to Manny going up to 154 to face Yuri....a "good" win, in a higher weight class, against a champion, but ultimately looked at as "window dressing". It helps enhance his legacy but isn't considered a GREAT win.

I say it was a better move for Floyd to take on Blado based on the fact that the money...from what I understand was a little better and it was a LINEAL title.

I get that people will continue to rely on the past to justify hate,or disdain that is in any walk of life, I just cannot get how can people have such disdain for a human because how they feel about themseleves. its called SELF-ESTEEM, the man can say he is the greatest and as long as he beleive it, im fine with that my opinion differs but I dont hate him for having high self esteem, everybody should feel they are the best at their career and be compensated accordingly, the one thing if you hae followed boxing long enough then you will know that he has been consistant on what he boxes for.I personally enjoy wataching him or any fighter fight wheather its espn or versus or pay per view, but im not one to sit and say man if i had his talent i would fight every month and fight all the fighters the people that dont like me think i shoud fight.

Thats fine, I could agree with that, but at the same time people are talking about he fought Baldo, Hatton, JMM when he should have fought Margo, Cotto, Mosley.

Things got to be put into perspective.

It's because he says 1 thing and does another.
People are hard wired to hate hypocrisy because it exposes agendas and tricks. People will not sit back and let a man make a claim and then not back it up.
If you're going to make a claim, provide evidence or expect ridicule.
I could say "I am the smartest poster on this forum" and do you know how many people would disagree and start talking ****?

If you don't understand this logic, you're an idiot and should not engage in social debate.

LukeO woooowww really, really how much do YOU get paid for this insightful commentary, considering the fact you have more post on anything that has to do with with floyd mayweather than even his most strident supporters, I simply stated that I do not understand how there can you or anyone else waste so much of YOUR energy on something or someone who would not even look your way walking down the street.
OH and by the way PEOPLE only HATE hypocrites who do not agree with THEIR POINT OF VIEW. they LOVE hypocisy if it is in THEIR favor or on THEIR behalf sir thank you for your time

You just made quite the idiotic comparison and defense to your hatred for Floyd.

The truth is confidence in boxing is a necessity. Secondly, the man has devoted his ENTIRE LIFE to his craft. He has been punching people and getting punched since he was a little kid. He represented our country in the olympics and has had a total of 120 total Fights Am and Pro.

He remains unbeaten as a professional, and has rarely been even tested with the exception of a few opponents. At his age now, after all the fights, training, bull**** of boxing politics if he wants to call himself the greatest, if "I'm the greatest fighter ever" is what motivates him and if that is what he uses to remain in the spotlight and remain the PPV draw that he is, then why blame him?

As a boxing fan, anyone who has devoted their entire life to the sport and achieved what he has, and has developed the greatness he has, hell he can say or do whatever the hell he wants. The truth is he can retire for good right now and he will leave behind a pretty damn good legacy. Anything else is icing on the cake. Yeah we'd be dissappointed a bit, but who the hell are we to tell another man, whom we don't know, what to do with his life???? :deal

LukeO is TRYING TO make an illogical point sound logical, like when people who say the hatton that floyd was garbage but version the pac smashed was better since it was at his comfortable weight 140 , but to be honest his comfortable weight for him is around 170lbs its not his fight weight bt it is the weight that his body untrained rest at people who work out know what I mean

Yeah, 140 is only "more comfortable" for him because his opponents are smaller
