I have to agree with u here. Oscar looked as if he could have modeled for GQ after that fight. Had Floyd really landed all those supposed power shots, it sure as hell didnt show.

Now I'm thinking I have to watch the whole fight again. Rd 5 starts at 3:47 :deal
Thats my point, and Oscar is known for swelling and turning red, neither happend, hell even against Mayorga he had some swelling and redness. Also note the entire HBO team was talking about what a great job Oscar was doing in deflecting those shots, from round 2 on through the 10th round....
Round 5 he got owned though I gotta watch the rest of the fight again. I am totally in agreement with you, but I do have to watch again.
Owned, I doubt it Owned is round 11 Bowe Holyfield 1, Round 5 in that fight was far from being Owned, Round five was a clear round for Floyd, but one round doesnt win you the entire fight neither.
Ok dude, don't be so defensive. "Owned" might be an exaggeration. I stated I agreed with you, but do feel I need to rewatch the fight. :good
Thats the problem on ESB too many people use the term "Owned" or "Clear UD" how is a close fight that could have gone either way ownage? or a clear win? if the fight was close enough to go to either guy thats what it is, but some dont have the balls to admit that, they rather lie and say stupid ****.
Why are you coming at me though, scroll up and you'll see I scored the fight a draw. I just said round 5 he kinda got owned in, and he did. His knees were buckled by a counter and Floyd WAS tagging him with clean power shots, I counted over 20 landed power shots in that round :deal
Owned is what Pac did to Oscar. Not what Floyd did to him. Pac had Oscar sitting on his stool looking like a confused and helpless child.
Mayweather clearly won the fight against De La Hoya. What did you see in this fight that made you think that Oscar won? Defense, ring generalship, clean punching, and effective aggression are the four aspects to scoring a round. How many of those things did De La Hoya do throughout the whole fight? Mayweather controlled the distance, landed the cleaner punches, and even though De La Hoya did use quality defense, Floyd's defense was superior.
YES He ****ING DID. MARGHARITO, COTTO, MOSELY, CLOTTEY, WILLIAMS and now PACQUAIO. ALL THE ****ING TOP WELTERWEIGHTS. JESUS CHRIST WHEN ARE PEOPLE GOING TO WAKE UP????? **** SAKE?? Mayweather is only fighting Mosely now because compared to Pacquaio it's an easy fight. Take Pacquaio out of the story and Mosely is a hard fight. Mayweather always takes the easiest fight he can.
:rofl:rofl:rofl Now Mayweather ducked Clottey too! He didn't "duck" Pacman idiot, it was so clear to any informed and non-partisan mind that Arum and Team Pac DID NOT want to fight Mayweather in March, Roach even said it initially. He chose not to fight Margo, because he fought Baldomir for the linear title, anyone with 1/2 a brain would have done the same exact thing. He never ducked Mosley, Mosley turned him down (toothache ring a bell) and it doesn't matter anyway because he is fighting him in May anyway :deal
There are two interviews with pbf one where he said split decisions were not really victories and one where he said cotto was at one point the best WW around. (check YouTube) So he should have rematched DLH because according to his own standards it wasn't really a victory and should have fought cotto if he really wanted to fight the best. But we have to know he is a man who wants to make his money so I'm not gonna cuss him down for that,..... But when you want p4p champ acclaim and not fight the best out there don't be surprised if people question you not using that amazing fighting ability that pbf has......this is one of the issues which are taking over many boxers minds now: risk vs. Reward is more important a measure than being and fighting the best
Like what you've done in this thread? The irony is beyond funny...you've made an ass of yourself in this thread.
