He offered to fight Mosley on more than one occasion and Mosley's on video openly turning down a fight with Floyd.

When was he in position to fight Williams?

Cotto: Cotto never even mentions Mayweather's name, so how can he dodge a fighter that won't even say his name or even acknowledge a slight willingness to fight him? When Floyd tried to fight Cotto at 140 Arum said Cotto wasn't ready.

Margarito: He fought Baldomir for 8 million and the championship instead of fighting Margarito for only 8 million. Arum also said Mayweather accepted a fight with Margarito but wanted 20 million for De La Hoya and 10 million a piece for Hatton and Cotto. Arum refused, saying the money wasn't there.

Who are the other Welterweights that he ducked?

    Is Mosley a Top Welterweight?

Void, Sr. said that he did not want Void, Jr. to fight Pac. He said that right after Pac beat Cotto. He knows that Void can't beat Pac.

When Floyd was coming up he was the one fighting anyone and calling bigger guys out. Why would a "ducker" like himself fight Castillo and Corrales, among many other dangerous opponents???

When a fighter reaches a level in the sport they have the luxury of dictating who they do and don't face. Call it "ducking", but it is what it is. It's why Margo didn't rematch Williams, it's why Hoya never fought Winky, it's why Floyd never fought Williams, why Hopkins isn't fighting Dawson, why Pac made Cotto come down to 145lbs. People ***** and MOAN about Floyd, but the truth is it is the sport of boxing that is to blame.

The Baldo/Margo situation for example.....NOBODY in their right mind would fight Margo at that time, when there was Baldomir AND the linear title being offered for the same money :deal He was in a lose lose lose lose situation there, because idiots like you find things to ***** about. Cotto? Why isn't Cotto being branded a ducker? He turned Floyd down at 140lbs, Mosley? He turned Floyd down too.

I love how it's ALWAYS Floyd being blamed for these fights not coming off, did it ever occur to anybbody else that maybe, just maybe other fighters might not want to fight him?!?!? He is unarguably the greatest pure boxer and technician of this generation, but it is always HIM who makes these fights fall apart right?

I have 1 question. Why is it that Floyd is constantly being called a "ducker", yet fighters like Pac, Cotto, Barrera, Erik Morales, Marquez, Trinidad, etc arent?

The answer is simple. These guys just wanted to fight the best without any excuses. They proved themselves in the ring. When it comes to Floyd, there's always excuses and reasons why he shouldnt have to fight so and so. Funny how its always someone who's an actual threat! :deal

He is now facing Mosley in order to save face. Not to mention, there are no other credible opponents out there for him aside from Pac. Floyd wasnt clamouring for a bout with Mosley. All he did for the past year or so is discredit him and talk about why he has no interest in fighting him. He was pressured into taking this fight.

Most of guys mentioned have no problem with setting up fights with
the most dangerous available opponent at the time and they constantly
in their career are stepping up to face real treats/challenges at higher weight classes.
Off course they have on their resumes a single cases which can be called as a
ducking but these are very rare examples.

As for Floyd, I guess nobody can say that Floyd was ducker below 135lb,
but after that the number of cases which 'could be' considered as ducking/cherry
picking easier opponent or any way leading to ****ing up the almost done
deal between him and stringer competitors are increasing significantly.

Off course you can always defend Floyd saying that he did that or this
because of something important to him but the number of suspicious cases
here is probably at the same level of the number of suspicious cases accumulated
    over all mentioned above boxers.

If I can find the article with the exact quote from Floyd Jr, i'll post it here. He says something along the lines of "I'm gonna wait till Kosta Tzyu is an old man so that he can see how it feels"

He made that comment in reference to Zoo whoopin on his uncle towards the end of his career when he was aging.

I understand that comment, he was probably waiting for Zoo's showtime contract to expire.

Kind of hard for him to fight him when Zoo is a showtime fighter and Floyd HBO...
