You can't use a 1 in a million guy in Hopkins and apply the age principle to everyone. Look at Jones, Dela Hoya, Chavez, etc... they are no way better in their old age than what they were when they were younger. At 39 Mosley would have lose some reflex and hunger. You could say he gain experience but, that is hard to measure. Nevertheless, he was better when he fought Dela Hoya than what he is now.

he left the welterweight divison 2 years ago when it was pretty hot. now that pac and mosley is left, he had to avoid pac and forced into a fight with a 38 year old, inactive welter in mosley. to make matters worst, mosley has been in taxing wars with cotto and mayorga while floyd came in fresh after a long rest and a sparring exhibition with a bloated lightweight.

Its not so much that he fought a bloated lightweight, hell I don't fault anyone for trying to get a payday and this was a way for both to make money. What bothered me about Mayweather is that he came in 2 lbs over the limit. This is a sign of disrespect both to your opponent and the sport. I don't care if all you do is talk **** outside the ring but when it comes to lacing up and getting in the ring you need to do it justice and mayweather didn't do that in the marquez fight.

I believe that he did duck margarito and pacquaio but now he is forced to fight mosley because he backed out of the pacman fight. The retiring thing was bs obviously he mismanaged his money and he needs back in the fight game but people aren't gonna settle for anything less than champions or #1 contenders in his fights which is Berto/Mosley/Pac. If Mosley beats Mayweather and they have to rematch, I would like to see Pac get in the ring with Berto or Bradley

Not sure who he "ducked" but fights against Fretias, Casamayor, Johnston, Tsyzu, Margarito and Cotto couldve happened and shouldve.

I'm not right about anything? Cotto beat Mosely and Pac destroyed Cotto. That's a fact I'm afraid. sorry. Bye now.

puga, shut the **** up, only a few months back while Berto-Mosley was still on you calling for Mayweather to fight Mosley and that he was ducking him because "mosley was not a draw"

Now that the fight is made and happening, Mosley is this shot fighter beyond any repair.

    ****ing hypocrite.

He wanted to fight Cotto but he was "too green".
    Called Mosley out twice
Pacquiao, both fighters are at fault for the fight not happening, and it still could.
Tszyu? are ****ing kidding me? He mentioned him as a possibility alongside Castillo.
Margarito is the only one you guys can hold on to religiously.

it's all good now that berto-shane was cancelled and we had floyd-shane, but it doesn't change the fact that he left the division when everybody was fighting one another.

if he would fight pacquiao next, then i would have no more qualms and would become a fan win or lose.

Every good fighter at the top is a cherry picker and ducker because they have so much to lose, why not stay on top make the most money for the lowest risk.

You completely ignored what was said, months back, you were calling for him to fight Mosley.

Now, that he is fighting Mosley, it's a bad thing to you.

i don't remember saying that he should fight mosley. what i remember was wanting him to fight an elite welter and he would do it just now after the mosley-berto fight was scrapped.

i just can't actually gauge mosley now. we have a saying in boxing "that you are only as good as in your last fight." well his last fight is about 1.5 years ago, although he looked impressive, i don't know what this period of inactivity would do to a 38years old fighter. but still floyd has to consider fighting him so he deserves some props.

Pacquiao for sure. Concreto too, he wasn't known as concreto back then. I think Floyd would have schooled Concreto but it seems like he ducked him.

Seriously though. Forget the ducking issue I'm just messing around. But it's frustrating that those 2 fights didn't happen.

Someone made the claim that Mayweather-Pac would be Mayweather-Gatti

    and you responded with this.

If that's not a call to fight Mosley, what is?
