Easy to say but you're not looking at it in context. He only stepped up to WW in late 05. "Retired" 2 years later after some big fights including one at 154. Now comes back and will possibly fight the top 2 welters and top 3 p4p (at the time of his comeback)

So if said boxer hasn't fought one or two other boxers in his weight class...he is automatically ducking them? WRONG.

:rofl......do you really think he ducked Marg? I mean he had Baldo on radar based on being the LINEAL WW champ.....less risk and same financial reward. I think the overall benefits that are important to FLOYD made his decision to face Baldo rather than Marg. I wouldn't really call it ducking although I can see why some would feel he avoided Tony.

Which is fine if you're a cherry picker.
If you want to claim to be the greatest boxer who ever lived, you need to do more than cherry pick.

He did duck Margarito, weather you feel he would have won or not, Floyd turned down at that point the highest career payday, Sounds like something another fighter did recently and Floyd supporters are giving that other fighter **** about it

At WW? I would say based on his resume....

    Cotto
    Margarito
    Mosley(until forced)
    Paul Williams

or any of the other top 147 guys he chose not to fight.

There's a newbie pretending to have knowledge, "the division was weeeeek!", thanks for letting us know, we were all lost waiting for your amazing appearance, idiot.

Judah was considered one of the most dangerous opponents at the time and MANY thought Mayweather would be scared shitless of moving up to fight him after his performance against Spinks. If you don't know how Judah was looked at you're either a newbie pretending to know something or just a typical failure of a troll. Yeah, right after Vivian Harris was crowned the most feared beast it went to Judah(at least he had a decent win) then to tomato can Margarito.

His move to Welterweight was for WBC/WBA/IBF champion Zab Judah and Judah losing to Baldomir has nothing to do with Mayweather, it's a sport not a popularity contest jackass. It's not Baldomir's problem he wasn't promoted good enough to be known by the idiots like Glen Johnson was.

To be fair, Mayweather has only fought 5 fights at WW and 2 of them can be questioned.

Judah and Baldomir were top 5 WW's when Floyd fought them. You can criticize here all you want, but the truth is they were two of the top 3 or 4 at the time.

Mayweather was accused of ducking Hatton at 140 and Hatton was previously a champion at 147, so that fight is fine.

Shamba Mitchell was an easy fight to ease his way into the weight (Mitchell wasn't even a real WW). Fair to question that if you really want to.

JMM is the other questionable one if you want to nit-pick. The JMM fight was taken because JMM called him out and bc JMM is the only guy to give Pacquiao a competitive fight since Morales. Since Manny was busy beating up Floyd's 2nds, Floyd was trying to prove a point to Manny here in my opinion.

Plus, Floyd is now about to face the top guy at WW, the the ducking accusations should stop for the time being.

I wouldnt say Floyd was forced to fight Shane....he had plenty of other options after the Manny fight fell through. But NONE that would be respected by the masses other than Shane or PW. Maybe Marg:lol: Floyd could have REALLY DUCKED Shane. ALthough Shane gave in to ALL THE DEMANDS of Floyd. I give Floyd props for making the fight and Shane for ensuring Floyd could not find any outs by agreeing to EVERYTHING Floyd wanted.

You really can't afford to continue playing stubborn, junkyard fighting promoter.

Margarito wasn't Mayweather's career high payday you idiot, Mayweather was HIS career high payday and for what?, for beating Andrew "Six heads zero chins" Lewis and it made sense to other fellow junkyard promoters posting here. The Baldomir fight offered more than the Margarito fight and it offered the lineal title and official #1 spot, it didn't offer respect in junkyard communities and Tijuana which obviously means a lot to the likes of you.
