Insulting Margarito means I'm insulting Latinos in general?, how so? Anyway, all this "Cheese" ****, not knowing the father and all that crap, have you been performing for your son lately? I'll tell you this much, I assure you my father doesn't own a trailer which recruits no future losers to perform in backyards.
You have a problem with people using Baldo to legitimize Floyd's resume; why? Baldomir was the legitimate, linear champion at welterweight. And Floyd beat him and the former linear champ back to back to become the linear champion himself. Baldomir did something Cotto or Pacman didn't. The belt Pacman won at WW was a vacant title Cotto beat Jennings to get, was it not?? :huh And he made Cotto come to 145 for the fight.
Who else do you talk about that has beaten baldomir? Was baldomir given even a remote chance of winning? Think about it objectively.
I am dude. And as a fighter, if you have a linear WW champ who just beat the man you were in negotiations of fighting, or some other title holder.....who are you gonna fight?
Yeah, but using it to define his WW resume is stupid. Do we use David Diaz as an example of how Pacquiao was amazing at 135? No... but he held a belt. It was a luck of the draw for floyd that Judah was an idiot in preparing for baldomir.
I have no idea where you get the thought that some how I promote that series, but hey some people such as yourself are just born stupid dont blame me for that. your trash, and the only time you even dare to have the balls to talk about Latinos the way you do is here on the net, a place in which your safe behind your keyboard. your a straight up *****, and obviously either had your ***** taken by a latino or your ass whipped by one
Your father if he really is your father we know your moms been around the block a few times in her crack days, but your father doesnt own ****, cus he isnt ****... lets leave it at that :hi:
I just have a simple question for people who truly follow boxing, why is this line of questions are always only about floyd when he isn;t the first or the last to go after the biggest paying fights, when that is the reason they fight. they all have strategically guided careers mostly guided by their promoters, to maximize their earning power most of these GUYS have been fighting since 10 yrs old in some cases younger, why is it that floyd is the only one who gets flack for knowing how to perserve himself, he sees everyday the toll the fight game takes on fighters why would you do a low reward high risk fight it makes 0 business sence
Mayweather fought Henry Bruseles in order to set up a Cotto fight down the road as Bruseles was Cotto's sparing partner and close friend. Mayweather went on to destroy Bruseles and Gatti at 140. After the Gatti fight not to many people wanted a piece of Mayweather at that time. Hatton and Cotto both claimed they weren't ready. Mayweather moved up to 147 looking to fight the best as he was on a mission. He was looking to fight Winky but Winky choose a better fight at 160 vs Tito, Mosley didn't want the fight at the time, DLH wasn't ready for the fight at the time. Jab Judah didn't want the fight at the time. So after Gatti that makes Hatton, Cotto, Winky, Mosley, DLH, Judah all not available for Mayweather. He should have fought Collazo or Margarito instead of Sharmba Mitchell though. Then again who is to say that Collazo or Margarito wanted anything to do with Mayweather at the time. He wasn't a champion at 147 yet and its not like they would be winning his Jr Welter belt. They would have had all the risk and minimal gain. Margo loses to Mayweather at that point in his career he loses his belt and would have had 2 losses in 1yrs time 5 total and probably no future title shot. But once Mayweather had the IBF then the WBC at WW thats when he become appealing. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/news.php?p=5149&more=1
What top guy would you put floyd's resume up against? leonard? Duran? Whittaker? Chavez? De La Hoya? Mosley? Hearns? Joe Louis? Sugar ray robinson?
williams wasnt in the picture when he left. Cotto wasnt that big of a deal at the time but they are mad he didnt come out of retirement sooner to face cotto when he started to become a big deal. So that and margarito but margo is with arum and we know how that went. PBF went on to fight DLH and hatton. And people like to ***** about him fighting hatton at 147 but they ignore that Hatton's camp for years publically said they werent ready for Floyd, that fight happened about 2 years too late but that is on Hattons fault not Floyd. Floyd went up to 154 and defeated DLH so he was a big draw at the time. He just bulked up for that fight (he was noticeably larger) so rather than struggle to fight at 140 they met in the middle at 147 a weight that Hatton already fought at and in reality on fight night they were close in weight. The people saying Floyd should have fought him at 140 know that Hatton needed floyd to drain down so Hatton would weigh more on fight night cause he dehydrates like crazy while floyd doesnt. Hatton isnt worth a **** if he doesnt have a weight advantage on his opponent.
