Without letting this thread turn into a troll fight and mentioning the P word, who else can people claim that Mayweather ducked?

I've heard some funny names being thrown about recently and wanted to look at a few fighters Floyds 'avoided':

Floyd ducked Margarito in 2009 - the same Margarito who got knocked out in January of 2009 by Shane Mosley, the same Mosley who then fought Mayweather in his very next fight.

Floyd ducked Kostya Tszyu - Floyd fought for his first title at light welterweight against Gatti in June 2005, three weeks after Tszyu was beaten into retirement by Ricky Hatton, who Floyd went on to beat.

Floyd ducked Sergio Martinez in 2011 - Mayweather fought once in 2011, against Victor Ortiz at Welterweight, meanwhile Sergio Martinez was busy campaigning at Middleweight, 2 weight divisions above him.

I'm not a ***** or whatever else people et labelled with these days, I just find some of these criticisms of Mayweathers career a bit laughable.

    Who else had Mayweather ducked?

Newbie fans think this way. Mayweather had been calling out the top guys since he was a lightweight. They wanted no part of Floyd because he was high risk, low reward. They waited for him to be a draw.

I remember HBO actually laughed at the prospect of him fighting Mosley or Oscar because Mayweather was calling them out. Seriously laughed. "He should fight somebody like a Zab Judah...."

Reality: They (Oscar and Shane) were ducking Mayweather for years.

    i'm with you on this
there are more points regarding margarito too
I think some people are just so intent on discrediting him that they lose objectivity

the pac fight hurts both Floyd and pac though- and I blame both of them for it

Floyd is the best boxer anyone has seen in the past 30 yrs. combination of mayweather being african american , rich , brash or ****y and undefeated dont sit well with alot of people. he has fought the best out there, he either beat the man or the man that beat man. so you should not try to talk with haters about mayweather. i was to young to remember leonard and hearns but not for floyd. its been a pleasure to watch him fight over the yr and a pleasure to keep the haters in check.
