Hamed(10 World Champs) Calzaghe(9 World champs)

BArrera-27 (ATG)Prime loss Hopkins -43 ATG past prime
Tom Johnson (13 defences IBF)KO Kessler (WBA-WBC) champs
Wilfredo Vazquez (WBa Champ) Lacy (IBF) champ
Cezar Soto (WBC champ) Robin Reid (lost to Malinga prior)
    Kevin Kelly Woodhall
    Paul ingle Mitchell
    Manuel Medina Brewer
    Wayne Mccolough Jones Jr (shot)
Vuyani Bungu (super Bantam IBF) Eubank (2 weeks notice)
    Steve Robinson (WBO)

Looking at both resumes its hard to pick , what gives Calzaghe the slight edge is his SD win over 43 year old hopkins. Hopkins was past it but still an excellent fighter.

Hameds only loss was to a PRIME BArrera who is one of the greatest latinos off all time.

Hamed also Kod most of his world champs. Only Wayne, Soto survived.

Hamed also battel in the US 5 times.

Calzaghes other wins were agains Woodhall who was past it and was in his self proclaimed retirement fight. Reid had also lost to Malinga prior to the Calzaghe fight, and many beleive he beat Joe. Brewer ws damaged goods before, (he got bashed u by Echols) and Mitchel was coming of a loss trying to take a payday.

Hamed faced 6 current champs to Calzaghes 3

    Johnson had made 13 defenses.

    Bungu made 12 defenses,

    Soto beat Espinota before Hamed.

Ingle became IBF champ Koing Jr Jones..

Even Medina went on to bcome a 5 weight champ.
