    Does anyone know?

Today a prominent website (hint: it rhymes with Light News) indicates that Mollo failed his MRI, leading to the fight being scrapped.

Yesterday, a website that rhymes with Boxing Bean said that Franklin Lawrence was medically disqualified. According to the Bean, the information about Lawrence was posted on Boxing360's website. Boxing360 promotes Mollo.

    What's the truth?

Cancel last night fight it was no more.

(P.S. - If it turns out that Lawrence was the one who failed his MRI, he won't be fighting anyone. But which failed the MRI: Yah Yah or Mollo?)

    Fernandez Upsets Stewart in Yawner

    J. R. Jowett reporting: The booming fight scene here at Dover Downs Casino/Racetrack underwent a 911 drill when the local debut of heavyweight Franklin Lawrence had to be scratched after opponent Mike Mollo failed the physical. The MRI reportedly revealed an old football injury to a neck vertebra. Good matchmaking kept the card alive, with the invaders keeping the heroes honest. But with no Tiberi on a Delaware show save matchmaker Nick, the crowd was a little less than the usual SRO. And the best that can be said about the promoted main event was that the judges scored it honestly.

So why would this only come up day of fight? Wouldn't these MRIS be done well enough in advance?

That's a good point. I also find it odd that the MRI news would be announced the day of the fight.
