Yea, Props to him on the Meehan win, and the recent controversial loss to Ruslan Chageav that many think he should have won, He's a solid fighter but he also lost to Kubrat Pulev, No Klitschko shot

Pretty much this, Bill. VERY fan-friendly fighter, but even in an era where so many people are shitting on all the fighters in the division, Walker is just a decent fighter with very serious power and poor punch resistance and he'd be very lucky to put himself next to the names that are seriously being talked about as likely to get a title shot. I mean, he's got a way to go to improve his rep to where a Stiverne is, and that's not very good in itself. He's got the power and the spirit but it's not likely enough. He might be one good punch away on a contender to usher himself into position, but he hasn't found that yet and he's had his chances.

He's already sparred with them, and dropped Vitali in 2005.

Vitali's knee was injured at the time, though.

Wasn't Vitali's knee injured when Raphael Butler floored him a week later, leading him to pull out of the Rahman fight? :think

Walkers an exciting fighter a good heavyweight but not top 10 material. not even top 20. I like him though and wish him the best..... he's a more powerful less skilled version of Chazz.

Vitali's knee was injured throughout the training camp. That's the only reason that Walker and Butler tagged him. Otherwise, Vitali would have mopped the floor with both of them.

Why not throw Pulev in there with a Klitschko instead

C'mon, even at his best Fresno Oquendo was a "B" contender at heavyweight; never "A" quality..... Oquendo has made a career losing his important fights...

    I actually would.

Up to $20 if it was headlining a ghetto PPV, regular PPV price if it was second or third billed on a stacked card with a solid ME.

    Oh?

There are many who take issue with your claim that Oquendo really "lost" his important fights. Whether Oquendo is "A" or "B" level tells us nothing about how he'd do against Walker. The only answer to that question is to undertake a stylistic analysis of each fighter.

I seriously doubt that Walker could hit Oquendo cleanly. Also, Walker is easy to hit with the right hand, which Oquendo throws with snapping power.
