I feel disgusted by all these Calzaghe nut huggers describing him as this Super skilled boxer. He got a victory over an old Hopkins. He didn't adjust to ****. He's not versatile, he's not superquick, anybody can look impressively quick throwing arm punches with no power. This **** is ridiculous. I hope Jones toys with him for 12 rds. and knocks him out at the last moment so nobody can say it was luck.

Ah, the bitterness. It makes being a Calzaghe fan for all these years, when everyone was tearing him to shreds worthwhile :yep

There are no more excuses. Just pure hatrid and bittenress

i must go to boxing rec to look up these huge ammount of anybodys who have copied calzaghe`s style .

if thats all you have to do to be a multi millionaire it will get all the youngsters back in the gym .

if a skinny white geezer with no power/no skill /no adaptabilty/average handspeed can do it than i will be the next sugar ray robinson.

Actually I am disgusted by the Hopkins nut-huggers that can't accept the fact that Bernard lost. And, are still whinning about weeks after the fight.

Calzaghe won, no doubt about it. But it wasn't like he put on this wonderful boxing masterpiece, He won a very close fight against an old Hopkins. It's an ok win, nothing great. He managed to get by.

Exactly, Calzaghe won. If Hopkins didn't feel up to it, he shouldn't have taken the fight. Either way it's history now, stop making excuses and get over it.

I never disagreed that he won. But do you think beating Hopkins at his advanced age is a great accomplishment? Do you think it should be used to glorify a good but not great fighter?

He deserves the praise and he doesn't have to be everyone's cup of tea.

It's really quite comical, because the only people around here still talking about the fight are all he Hopkins fans.

Shut up he's not specifically talking about the Hopkins fight; He never said Calzaghe didn't win that fight. He is stating his opinion about how Calzaghe is not a great fighter.

Anyways! Calzaghe is a good fighter..
