it doesnt matter how old hopkins was for the fight, he beat tarver and winky before joe and they are both very talented fighters, p4p top 20 and he beat them quite convincingly

Tarver, weight drained due to rapid weight loss just like Jones was when he fought him for the first time. Winky, fat and no stamina fighting out his weightclass.

I watched Calzaghe/Hopkins with my father (who was eager to watch boxing again in a long time) and we were both let down by it: hit clinch, hit clinch hit clinch clinch clinch

I had it 9-3 Calzaghe, haven't watched it since nor do I intend to

So in order to know **** about boxing I have to be in love with Calzaghe? Maybe something a little bit more intelligent next time.

It's funny how nobody can come up with a logical argument as to why Calzaghe is viewed as so great by some of his blind fans not all of them.

I hate fighters who fight with that volume over power/slapping style like Calzaghe does, even though you can't help but be in awe of his ability to beat everyone he faces with it.

He apparently can't put much power on his shots, but I gotta admit, he is always ready to slap the **** out of just about anyone. LOL

To summarize; Yes, I respect and admire his record, but I DETEST that weak ***** slapping style he does in order to win rounds with volume, alone. I HATE that kind of fighter.

I respect his determination, but some people blow **** way out of proportion.

Undispusted champion, infact best in the history of his division. 2 weight world champion. Wins over Kessler, Hopkins, Eubank then solid B levels such as Reid, Lacy, and Mitchell amongst others. Undefeated, which just shows his consistency. At his best (i.e. not the Hopkins fight) he has great speed, stamina, work-rate, solid chin. Proven ability to adapt to any style put infront of him

    Enough said :deal

not versatile, what do you call the win over Hopkins, yeah he threw alot of arm punches but he did what he had to do to out point Hops. The guy is a very good fighter, too bad he wasted his prime years though.
