"And if I did want to come back, I was going to make, what, $50 million (for the De La Hoya rematch)? You know what, don't call my phone unless you've got $100 million." Is this guy kidding ? Does he think he's a bigger draw than Oscar or Tyson ? Discuss!
Is this Floyd Mayweather Jr. appreciation day at ESB or what...lol Like the 500th post involving Floyd sofar. To answer your question, Yes. If people are willing to pay him why not. Will they? Prob not.
If people are wiling to pay then they are the fools but this guy acts like he's the number 1 draw in boxing ..
I thought this was a forum to DEBATE things, i think you'll find your the one being dense. I think we all know what he is saying, what exactly is your point?
let floyd fight mayorga and it will doe less than half what delahoya did vs him. So no he can't bring in that much revenue.
If I had that sort of a budget to spend on boxing I'd rather spread it out & get some decent, exciting match ups in the lower divisions going as opposed to blowing it all on one prima donna.
They gonna miss him they front like he gave boxing a black eye but now that he's gone they can't let him go Lames point blank period
I'm not usually one to judge, but the guy's hardly what you call likeable. He doesn't show any respect to any other boxer, and I'm pretty sure he's never met every boxer, so why should he get ours? I respect he's talents as a fighter, but as a person he sucks tbh.
Hey the guys not exciting enough by himself and doesnt have the kind of Charisma to command that amount. Had he produced a Chico like Performance vs DLH and fought and beat Cotto by KO he would at least be living up to the potential, but even then he is just not that Charismatic whatvever it is he just doesnt have it.
I'm just happy he really asked for that "totally impossible" money... That only means NO MORE BORING Mayweather inside ther ring!!!!
i don't think that any boxer in history is worth 100 million dollars a fig. not tyson nor robinson nor ali nor anyone
