I happen to think that Calzaghe is a damn fine fighter and i am sure almost anyone who has any idea about boxing would agree. I happen to loathe FMJ (or his 'screen' persona anyway) but I have to hold my hand up and say that the man is a superlative boxer. You, on the other hand seem to have absolutely nothing constructive (only destructive) to say about Calzaghe, only to claim that you 'respect him as a boxer' or some similar bull****.
Surely to "respect him as a boxer" is enough, what more do you want? I know it would make you fanatics feel more comfortable if everyone referred to him as god but "thems the breaks". I have said before Calzaghe has a lot more natural ability than Hopkins but has let his career be dictated by Frank Warren which, frankly, is a waste.
