Who feels themselves turning against Calzaghe?

I want Joe to win this one, It's time for Hops to lace them up, enjoy retirement and promotional work, it'll also get the yanks behind the best American fighter at light heavy, Dawson, who'd also whoop Hopkins at this point.

Most of them are just former Hatton fans who after their boy got his ass beat simply joined the Calzaghe bandwagon. Hopkins will tax that ass soon enough though.

 

That happened only once and was a temporary situation, when he fought a guy named Mikkel Kessler who I was slightly more of a fan of. Have now turned back as planned. :good

 

to be honest...in the beginning....i didn't think much of joe. over the last few years...he's showed me something. he has the goods. i'm not one who roots for hometown fighters....i usually boo them....but joe is something special. i think he's going to school bhop.

I didn't know of Calzaghe's existence until the Lacy fight. I instantly pegged him as one of my favorites, and after the Kessler fight, I downloaded his career set which I'm currently almost done with.

I would root for him over anyone but Kelly Pavlik -- but most of all, I enjoy watching his fights because no-one gets away with a safety-first approach against Joe, and thus there are always confrontations.

 

I really respect the fact he is coming to the States to fight B-hop
