Toney and Hill are the only fighters in RJJ record who may be considered as a good
oponents before the time of the fight and who are still considered pretty great right now.
Tito doesn't count at all, maybe Calzaghe will be the third credible opponent.

You wanna compare this to Tyson, you have at least three similar
fighters on his resume: Holmes, Lewis, Holyfield. Beside that Tyson
fought much more dangerous fighters on the mediocre level than Jones.

Tyson fought Lewis and Holy, so he fought better fighters, however, he got his ass kicked.

Roy Jones Jr beat better fighters.

Jones fought and BEAT better competition. The best guy Tyson ever fought was Holyfield and Lewis and he got his ass kicked.

The real question is how many months RJJ would've been hospitalized had the Tyson vs. Jones fight happened.

Hopkins was nothing special as the fighter when Jones fought him.
After Hopkins became real fighter Jones was ducking him for years.
You cant count Hopkins in their fight at the level of Lewis, Holyfield
or even faded Holmes who rather was on the level of Hill.

Since Jones was layed out like a corpse after Glen Johnson hit his Glass Jaw imagine what Tyson would have done. :yikes

So you include a past his prime Holmes for Tyson, but discount a young Hopkins who actually gave Jones decent competition and displayed the same skill set and talent that he had vs the likes of trinidad?

I count past his prime Holmes at the level of past his prime Hill.

Tyson has no name on his resume like Hopkins but during the fight
Hopkins was two levels below Holyfield or Levis. Toney was the only
recognized name during the fight who was successful in the later years
    it means a proven fighter.
