Simple question really. The Eugene Hart thread got me thinking about just how many hard punchers Hagler fought in his career.

The man battled Hart, Briscoe, Mugabi, Antoufermo, Hearns, Caveman Lee etc.

Is there anyone out there who fought as many lethal punchers as Hagler?

Joey Maxim battled Curtis Shepherd, Archie Moore, Bob Murphy, and Ezzard Charles.

I suppose Ali would (should) quickly spring to mind

Even early in his career Clark Banks, Powell, Cooper, amongst others may be said to qualify but From original title winning ....
Liston, Cooper, Williams, Quarry, Bonavena, Frazier, Foster (Mac), Lewis, Foreman, Lyle, Shavers, - And some even got a second chance.

Realistically it's going to be someone like Archie Moore who fought everyone from Patterson and Marciano to Satterfield and Sheppard. Or someone else with 200+ fights.

For a modern non-heavyweight answer long after the days of 200-300 fight careers, how about Jose Luis Ramirez?

Ruben Olivares, Alexis Arguello, Ray Mancini, Edwin Rosario (twice), prime Julio Cesar Chavez.
