Roy wasn’t in his prime when he fought bhop. Roy knew bhop figured him out the second half of his fight with bhop. Roy won but ducked until he was past it. They had a sparring match for big money. If the would had an immediate rematch at 160 bhop woulda won. Roy was to drained at 160.

The question was who fought the tougher opponents and I said Oscar. He lost to both bhop and Whitaker.

The Ike Quartey that fought Oscar was better than all our Mayweather's opponents at the stage he fought them.

Oscar fought guys without knowing they were declining or had just lost. he did not handpick the way Floyd did, and his resume is significantly better than Floyd. He would fight anyone.

Yeah, I thought Quartey beat DLH, and I'd pick that version of Quartey to beat Mayweather as well.

What could Mayweather do with Quartey's high guard and stick the jab out style that he was so good at.
I don't think Mayweather's roll defense lends itself to combat that type of style.
Mosley and Trinidad are 50/50 fights with Mayweather at 147 lbs.
People forget, Trinidad lost to bigger fighters at 160 lbs and above.
Trinidad's power at 147 lbs is unlike anything Mayweather ever went up against and Mosley's speed at 147 lbs surpasses Mayweather. Speed is an attribute Mayweather didn't want to face which is why he declined to face Amir Khan when that possibility presented itself to him.

    Not anyone.
He wanted no part of Trinidad when Trinidad moved up to 154 lbs and 160 lbs and he wanted no part of Winky Wright who easily handled Tito. So its not like Oscar was taking on all comers.
Even ti'll the end he stayed away from Margarito when the consensus was Margarito was the dangerous fighter at 147/154 lbs.
People forget DLH cherry picked Pacquiao to aooid Margarito. It doesn't paint itself that way now because of what Pacquiao accomplished at 147 lbs, but at the time, Pacquiao was moving up two more weight divisions, actually 3 because he only had fought once at 135 lbs and was a fighter who spent years at 126 lbs and below.
The Pacquiao fight though was in fact a cherry pick for DLH to avoid Antonio Margarito.
