Nonsense assumption as Mayweather never fought at 160 lbs.

At 154 lbs I'd favor Mayweather vs Hopkins. Hopkins could not handle speed. Roy Jones, Jermaine Taylor, Joe Calzaghe.
In a battle of defensive posturing, Mayweather would win on points because he was simply to quick and fast for Nard.

    LOOOOOOL

Floyd never moved up to 160 for a reason

Floyd wouldn't last 2 rounds against a 160 ib Hopkins Hopkins is no shot Pac a natural flyweight

its close imo floyd gets alot of hate but his resume also has more names more fights . i think hes resume overall is better. but toughest opponents is the questions. still a tough call i might give slight edge to floyd.

No poll? Of course DLH faced the tougher competition but a poll would have been nice

I don’t know if Whitaker or Bhop were prime? Definitely close to his prime. Hopkins was almost 40 at the time DLH fought him although I will admit HOPKINS was a top p4p boxer at that time. He dominated Howard Eastman after that fight and then lost back to back against Taylor a year later. Then Hopkins had a resurgence beating Pavlik and then moving up to 175

True, but Hasim lost to all of the top boxers except for Lewis. DLH beat most of his biggest opponents and had some questionable loses.

Floyd didn’t move up to fight Gatti. The fight was at 140. Gatti did move up to to 147 to fight Joe Hutchinson before he took on DLH. Those Robinson fights were brutal but they were hotly contested SD in the first fight and UD by 1 point for Robinson in the Rematch.

Afterwards Gatti went on a 4 fight win streak and moved up to 147 to fight Eric Jakubowski whom he KO’d in the 2nd round. Gatti moved back up to fight DLH then beat Terron Millett and had 3 wars with Gatti, fights with Darin, Branco and Lejia before Floyd fought him.

The Whitaker fight was questionable...very close and competitive but DLH got the W. He definitely lost to HOPKINS but DLH held his own and did a lot better than anyone could have expected

Possibly, but That wasn’t Oscar’s toughest opponent.
