I think it's Mayweather clearly, but it's damn close.

People who will say Roy will be clouding their head with thinking the "bigger" guys are more of a challenge without considering the size and weight of the two fighters in consideration as well as giving him credit for who he's fought post-Johnson when the reality is that fighting a guy like Lebedev a couple years back is not better than fighting a guy like Jesus Chavez back in '01.

 

Mayweather's resume is deeper but Jones has the better top wins. Nothing in Floyd's resume beats Jones' win over Hopkins and Toney, not to mention his win over Ruiz at HW. So depth to Floyd, best wins to Jones.

Jones has the better single wins. Mayweather has slightly more 'good' wins.

Jones wins over Hopkins and Toney are undeniably better than any single win on Mayweather's resume. But then you look at Floyd's resume and it just makes up for the lack of ATG's, with a lot of good/solid HOF'ers and top 1-5 ranked guys. Hernandez, Castillo, De La Hoya, Corrales, Marquez, Mosley, Hatton, Cotto, Judah, etc. Floyd makes up for the lack of all time greats in his resume by beating a good quantity of solid top guys.

Then you have Jones' wins over McCallum, Hill, Tarver, Gonzalez, Harding, Griffin, Ruiz, Woods, Sosa, R. Johnson, Paz, Del Valle, Malinga etc. All pretty solid/very good wins.

Because Jones has one definite top 50 ATG in his resume, along with a very good fighter in his prime in James Toney and possibly regarded as another ATG, though outside of top 50, and then a very solid resume to back those two wins up; I will give the slight edge to Jones for now. But Floyd may very well have the better resume when it's all set and done, he has 5 more fights, it's up to him but Canelo is a very good start for his ending.
