God, I love it when Bradley just giggles like girl on live air. Doesn´t boil my blood at all.

I wonder if ESPN will renew their deal with TR.
Because A, the cards have gone to ****.
B, the ratings have dropped significantly since 2018.
In the beginning they were able to crack 1 and 2 million viewers and heck, Manny even got them to 4.
But since then they have struggled to reach even 1 million.
    From Reddit:
    They are failing.
ESPN will probably keep them, as boxing is relatively cheap, but I expect TR will be taking a pay cut. Which will likely even worsen the quality of fights.
But hey! This could force them to adapt.
I always said that good matchmaking is key, even if the talent level is low.
Rosado vs Lemieux was one of the most viewed cards on HBO in 2014 because it was an end of the year card with fantastic matchmaking.

Lopez damaged his media image more than Shakur because he showed an inability to cut off the ring, which is boxing 101.
The decision was also in question; I don't think it was a "robbery" but Ortiz certainly could have received good score cards under different circumstances.

Whereas Stevenson won his fight, boring though it was. And wasn't he supposedly injured?

Lopez looks stupid today, Shakur merely boring.

    Haney-Kambosos 1 did like 1.35m viewers.
The rematch did 970k and it's been steady downhill since.
Problem is that people don't know who these guys are alot of the time and when they see some hype and finally tune in or just happen to stumble on the channel, they're treated to these awful matches.

Shakur; because Teo can still be exciting against the right opponent and Ortiz will get most of the blame here.

Shakur was essentially Jamaine Ortiz and he will not live this down.

That De Los Santos "fight" totally disgraced Shakurs standing in front of the whole scene. After years of crying.

That fight was the ticket to prove himself in a way. Now it gives anyone a free pass to skip over him.

They're both guys in their mid 20s with world titles, with a decade ahead of them.

Bit early for this "Fumbled the bag" stuff?

They were both at a point where they could become superstars. Now Teofimo is fighting some Canadian whose name I forgot and Stevenson is facing Artem Harut...yunyan...
Both were supposed to be PPV stars in the making.

Heck, Stevenson could have unified 130lb due to boxing politics favoring him. But he chose to move up to chase the bigger names and now this is the end result. Sure, you can´t blame him for chasing the bigger names, but he and his team have messed up big time.

Teofimo has essentially beaten 2 undisputed champions before his 26th birthday.

Stevenson is an undefeated 3 weight world champion.

They're both younger than Dalton Smith.

    A little perspective is required.

    Precisely!
They reached the top and now were in a position to become superstars. PPV headliners.
And what happened? Both guys are fighting nobodies in their next fights. And neither man will likely break the 1 million viewership mark.

That´s the reality. That´s the perspective.

No superstar fought killers in every fight. Im not sure how getting hung up on one or two less than mega fights means they "fumbled the bag".

The fights after this could be against Haney, Tank, Matias....who knows.

Um, they are now fighting little known guys instead of headlining PPV´s. They were supposed to be on the gusp of stardom and instead they can´t even find recognizable opposition.
I´d call it fumbling the bag.

Wass Mayweather fighting Bruselles "fumnbling ytre bag"? was De La Hoya fighting Chapentier "Fumbling the bag"? Was Pacquiao fighting Larios "Fumbling the bag"?

It's such a weird statement about 2 guys in their mid 20s imo.
