The most under-appreciated Fighter of our generation...EMANUEL BURTON/AUGUSTUS. Floyd's face was bloody and swollen. Floyd won the fight by stoppage, but Augustus (I call him Augustus) was amazing in that fight. Sometimes I wonder what he could've become and where he would be with the "right people" managing him. Look how slow and careful Arum likes to manage and match his young fighters with FAR LESS SKILL than Emanuel had.

Is there a fighter out there from 147lbs-160lbs with the skill of Augustus to give Mayweather problems? Because lets face it...Just because you can Punch and/or Pressure is not going to get it done. You are going to need SUPERIOR SKILL to beat Floyd. And when I say SUPERIOR SKILL...I mean a Complete Boxer (Sharp-Fast Jab, Counter-Punching, "Real-Defense" to elude, evade and make people miss).

    What fighter has that?

Floyd always insists that Agustus was his toughest fight... But from the outside looking in I'd say Castillo. That whole fight was a chaotic mess including the referee.

Wasn't that his first fight with his uncle as trainer? He made him fight more offensively unlike his father who chooses defensively

Again, People are getting "Lost in Translation" and I am using English. The Question was: "Who gave Floyd Mayweather the Most Punishment in a Fight?" Castillo was a "Tough Fight" but he Never punished Floyd AT ALL!! He pressured him often...But he didn't land many, (if any) meaningful or CLEAN punches. Everyone should take a look at the Augustus fight...Emanuel was POPPIN' Floyd ALL NIGHT!!!!

I think castillo gave floyd his toughest fight!! I also think pacman would give him a good fight and sergio martinez! But sergio would have a big size advantage!!

No Way...After 5 Rounds he fights the Whole fight with his hands down...Imagine what would happen to a fighter standing in front of Floyd with his HANDS DOWN????

Sergio martinez would give floyd some trouble! Hes bigger, he has skill! He could move, and he has speed!! Floyd going up to fight sergio martinez would be a bold move!! He would gain alot of respect in the boxing community!!
