Hopkins dominated the 10th, now that last round he coasted a little but by that point he already had the fight won and he and his corner thought so too. And being more Active doesn't mean your controlling the tempo especially when your being made to look like an ameteur and Calzaghe definetly wasn't controlling the tempo in that fight, your the one delusional because your also bias. The only round Calzaghe dominated was the 9th, a round Hopkins most likely took off which most fighters usually do.(and if you take his age into account, it's even more impressive that he went that long before he did that)

The title of the thread was who gave Hopkins a harder fight, not who won Hopkins/Calzaghe fight. But as soon as I gave my opinion the title, you guys jumped down throat into a whole other discussion. :bart

What about the first 7 rounds? The only round out of the first 7 was the 6th round that you could make a case for Calzaghe, plus the knockdown which adds 2 more points. So even if you gave Calzaghe the last 6 rounds(I surely didn't) he still loses the fight because of the knockdown. If you choose to keep going on about this, you go right ahead cause you'll be argueing with yourself, I've already said my peace whether you choose to agree or not.

This is one of the more ridiculous threads I've seen here, and that's saying a lot. Nard dominated Winky outside of the rounds he took off (he also dominated the rounds against Taylor that he didn't take off, but that's a different story, as he took off more rounds than he actually seemed to try). He kept it close against Calzaghe, but lost a majority of the rounds. I can see an argument where you could maybe have Hopkins beating Calzaghe by a point, but there's no way you can argue that Winky beat Hopkins.

god damn it - some sense at last.

winky didn't trouble hops anything like calzaghe did.

b-hop is a defensive master, calzaghe is an equally talented offensive fighter. he had what it took to beat bernard, winky didn't, end of....
