I'm almost ready to give up completely with the general forum now. There are too many of these goons.

Floyd said Augustus was his toughest fight before the Hatton fight.

I don't think the Hatton fight was that tough. He lost at MOST 3 rounds of 10, gained 1 point from the deduction, and if the fight went past 10 he picked up a 10-7 round in the 10th.

Oscar fight was tougher than the Hatton fight. Oscar didn't smother his attack on the ropes, but he too was picked off all night in ring center. Oscar took Floyd's shots better and so did Augustus. I go with Augustus. I think Floyd expected it to be an easier fight with Augustus than it was, and since hasn't taken an opponent lightly. He stopped Augustus technically, but Augustus wanted to keep on going. Hatton was laid out.

augustus. that night he was on. he was far more naturally gifted than hatton, but often didnt take boxing seriously. thats why he has such a forgettable record.

I think De La Hoya was a tougher fight in terms of how close it was in rounds, but Hatton was tougher in the sense that Mayweather had to work a lot harder. I don't think the Augustus fight was close either, but Augustus made Mayweather work harder than usual.

Castillo still was the toughest fight for Mayweather, no matter what he claims otherwise.

I don't think he had to work all that hard. That was the gameplan for the early rounds, as it typical of a Mayweather fight as of late. Hatton said before the fight Mayweather gives away rounds early to wear his opponent out. The thing Hatton forgot was after he gives away those rounds being defensive he's already figured you out when he opens up in the second half of the fight.

I say the Castillo fight was his toughest, but Oscar i have in second and Augustus 3rd.

I say you are a Ricky Hatton stalker.

You should just get it over with and send him a pair of your panties already. We all know it's going to happen.

The Castillo fights were his toughest. Castillo pressed him from round 1 - 12 in each bout.

Tough one to call but I would have to go with Castillo even though he was injured in their first fight.

Floyd Mayweather Sr. gave him his toughest fight.

Even Floyd Jr. admits he got his ass beat down.
