    Mosley, Marquez or Hatton

I know it seems like a strange question as hatton got knocked out
but i think on the whole he troubled mayweather more than mosley or marquez did as he at least pushed mayweather into fighting in a way that he is not used to and sometimes looked uncomfortable whereas in the other two fights mayweather controlled the pace against both ssm and jmm and other than mosley's big 2nd round just boxed there heads off.

Mayweather beat the crap out of all 3 but I'll go with Hatton since it seemed to take Mayweather an extra round or two to adju$t and start dominating.

The pace Hatton fought at, and how fast he closed the distance troubled Mayweather at times. Apart from Mosley in the 2nd round, yeah Hatton caused him a couple problems.

Tougher round I'd say Mosley, tougher fight I'd say Hatton

interesting post. Hatton pressured him but really played right into Floyd's hands. Mosley had him hurt and rocked but then was completely dominated the rest of the way. Marquez never really troubled Maywaether but wasn't really being dominated either.

Marquez is the only guy out of those three who I feel could have kept fighting for another several rounds if need be with no problem. Mosley looked like he was counting the second to the final bell. Hatton got KTFO.

I say Marquez. The second round makes it close for Mosley.

Marquez forced Mayweather to stay behind his jab and keep a tight defense from the first to the last bell.

I'd say Hatton. Although he didn't have huge success in landing punches (who does against Mayweather?) he still made it a very uncomfortable experience for 7-8 rounds. He closed the distance quickly, he never gave Mayweather a second to rest - he had to be thinking every second of every round. It was a mentally and physically tiring fight for him. Same can't be said for Marquez or Mosley, where he was able to fight at his own pace

If we are only going by the options in the poll I'd say Hatton if its throughout his career I'd say Judah and Castillo

Out if those 3, I would say Mosley, just because he had Floyd so hurt in round 2. De La Hoya, Augustus, Corley and Judah could easily be on the list. Floyd never has a lot of trouble with his opponents.

it is dela hoya who gave mayweather a tough fight, if he was consistent on his
jabs he could outpoint him easily...the rugged tactics of hatton seems to
bother mayweather and castillo during their first fight but it was mosley who
gave him the scare of a knockout..just wondering if it was pacquiao, were
there will be a next round after ?:happy
