Today I've been watching Sam Peter fights. Damn, the guy was a tank, solid during his 2005-2007 peak. A good slugger. Took some SERIOUS beatings from the Klitschkos. Who gave him the worst beating...Wlad I, Vitali, Wlad II or Helenius?
Vitali for sure. 5 Rd beatdown that pretty much ruined his career. The guy didnt even have a trainer with him against Helenius, dont really rate that win
I think Vitali was even more dominant in his 8 rd win than Wlad in the 2nd fight KO. Sam was just 100% ineffective... took a pounding for 8 rounds and could not even touch Vitali. No clinching no nothing was required, and this was when Sam still had that aura about him of almost taking out Wlad.
Peters never been the same after the first Wlad fight.. rematch was a way more damaging beat down that the fight with Vitali who just schooled him. clinching required? lol Peter was falling into Wlad with outstretched arms from the 2nd round on and held on for dear life
I think the Vitali beating was the worst, but i think Mccline took Peters faith in his chin, before the Mccline the only time i saw Peter being wobbled was once against Wladmir, then after the Mccline fight he was wobbled by Maskaev and against Vitali he was also wobbled several times. Worst beating: Vitali Broke his will: Mccline
I love Toney but as a Toney fan you shouldn't bring that up sir, he was clearly OUTBOXED for all 12 rounds in the 2nd fight
VK did. Peter just got whacked pillar to post til he ain't want no more. At least he hung in til the end against Helenius and Wlad.
Peter was child's play for Vitali. Prolonged, systematic demolition and high damage count >>> [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mC1HC1iGa1U[/ame]
