James Tillis gave him some problems. But its not a fight that a place much stock in.. Tyson was 19 years old with only umpteen number of bouts behind him.

A few guys had moments but nobody really troubled him too much. Tubbs had a nice round. Biggs had decent first round. Thomas seemed to throw him off a bit. Tucker fought a few decent rounds. I guess I'd go with Tillis as well.

I would say Tucker. Fight was reasonably close.

Tucker was the only guy who kind of rocked him. Tucker or Tillis.

    Bruno imo.

If only he would have stood back and leaned him up after rocking him instead of going gung ho, he would have shocked the world, he fought him and believed he could win, he showed that Mike could be beaten.

Tillis. Tyson arguably only won 6 rounds in that fight.

Mitch Green took the sting out of him without inflicting too much damage.

I tend to subscribe to this notion. Tucker is next for me. Bruno landed a great shot, and I was solidly behind him, but it wasn't sustained success.

Tyson was madly dominant against poor to very good opposition. It says it all that we have to struggle so hard finding even small moments of success against him. As Goo says he was green against Tillis. Tucker landed a decent shot early but fought mostly a spoiling type fight which made him hard to look good against. He's big too and quite a good fighter. Bruno landed one good shot but it was a very fleeting moment.

Putting career stage aside i'd have to say Tillis.

Jessie Ferguson in early rnds gave it the big un .I watched the whole fight recently much more hard fought than it appears on Tyson's greatest hits video.god I loved watching that when I was a young bloke the tubbs fight was very funny he looked like Larry from fat Larrys band.Tony could form a tribute act make himself a few quid.

Tillis showed Tyson was susceptible to the uppercut. And constant circling if maintained would defuse his intensity
