I think James Tillis was difficult for Mike with his speed and slick style.

    James quick tillis.

You could see the blueprint for Tyson starting to appear after that fight. Big guy with good jab hitting Tyson as he came in. It became fullblown in the Buster Douglas fight. But, you know, Evander isn't big with not a very huge jab, and yet Tyson still lost.

Your anylyzing this too much. Mike only lost when he's opponent fought back. After Mike went with DKP he's original training regime was done. Rooney was ousted team Tyson was disbanded. Mike lost all he's good habits and relied on he's power to bail him back. The reason why Holy and Buster beat him soundly was because they stayed in the centre of the ring and punched Mike back. By then Mike had one plan and that was to win by KO. If he couldnt back he's man up he lost plain and simple.

Tony Tucker and Robin "*****" Givins....

    MR.BILL

    P.S.

Tony Tucker was another huge heavy of the 1980s to mid 90s who NEVER could excell on the "A" team playing field........... Tucker was the king of "B" heavies...... Everytime Tony Tucker stepped up in class, he basically choked......

Tony Tucker was losing to Buster Douglas in 1987, but Douglas ran outta gas and looked for a way out; Douglas found his way, and lost to Tucker...
