The title eliminator winner should get the first shot.

yeah title eliminator then ruslan chagev next. that way it should clear wlad/ibrag winner for another year as far as meeting their mandatory obligation.

this means though that the wbo belt will probably get stripped as i cannot imagine wladimir (who i believe will win) to defend against thompson rather than povetkin. of the two mandatories, povetkin poses the bigger danger and therefore will make hopefully for a better fight for us fans.

and im sure that who ever becomes the unified champ, wont worry too much about being stripped of one or two belts. as long as they can beat the other titleholders, that is enough to show who the man is in the division.

Povetkin will beat Chambers impressively and get a shot at the King Klitscko. It'll either be him or Chagaev but Im hoping the Povetkin will get to him first.

But Tony Thompson won a eliminator vs Luan Krasnigi way before Povetkin vs Chambers, I really think Tony has a case for first shot and might press for it.:nono

I agree, though I would rather see Povetkin or Chambers fight Wlad.

Well, since we know that Povetkin/Wlad would make the biggest of the possible fights, it's the one we most want to see, but of course the last one the promoters will allow, as they'll want to drag out the suspence and hype for as long as possible.

and the ****ed up thing about it is, people will fall for. Im sure I will.

I think Wladimir will pay off Thompson too wait, Then Wlad will fight Povetkin then Thompson. In the mean time Chagaev will fight Skelton and the the Valuev vs Liakhovich winner. So we won't see Wladimir fight Chagaev untill late 2008 or early 2009.:think On the other hand if the WBO strips Wladimir of the title we might see Tony Thompson fight Alexander Dimitrenko for Vacant WBO title:nut

I am not impressed with Thompson, he could be a defence but should not be included in the upper level elite stuff, he is not deserving at this point

    Right, I fully agree.

I hope Chag gets in on this action right after the Povetkin mandatory fight. Thompson can certainly wait a while, seeing as how he poses almost zero threat.

And as you said, let them strip any and all titles, cause that won't matter, cause he'll have won the titel in the ring, so they can take the physical belt, and it won't matter, at all. :good

Honestly, Thompson isnt the greatest fighter of all time...but he has more than earned a shot at some sort of title.

I would rather see the winner (Wlad) go for further unification....but that wont happen so.......

Thompson would last about as long as Austin did.
