this means though that the wbo belt will probably get stripped as i cannot imagine wladimir (who i believe will win) to defend against thompson rather than povetkin. of the two mandatories, povetkin poses the bigger danger and therefore will make hopefully for a better fight for us fans.

and im sure that who ever becomes the unified champ, wont worry too much about being stripped of one or two belts. as long as they can beat the other titleholders, that is enough to show who the man is in the division.

I agree. The WBO heavyweight title has always been a joke anyway so it can be discarded as soon as they try to force an undeserving mandatory challenger on the unified champ.:good
