marquez is fighting the best of the lightweights. he doesnt really care about manufacturing a resume for himself. he just wants to fight the best!!!

the katsidis win isnt a great win, but katsidid is one of the best lightweights out there. he is tough and on paper and style wise he is a good opponent for the 37 year old marquez!!

margaritos style is not suited to marquez

marquez has never fought more than one fight above 135

pacquiao picked margarito because his style suits him

... these ARE common knowledge amongst boxing fans!! :D

    ok. YOU answer these questions

    1. is pacquiao much faster and fitter than marquez?

    2. has marquez ever had more than one fight outside 135?

    3. Is margaritos style more suited to marquez or pacquiao?

    4. would you expect marquez to beat margarito?

whatever makes you happy dude. look up the definition of fact on the internet. the only ones that fit are the answers to number 2 and pac being faster than jmm in number 1. but whatever, since all of them are facts to you anyway.

how bout if we hypothetically put it this way. How would PAC and JMM do against:

    PAC JMM

    Katsidis- W- probably 2nd or 3rd rd KO W- TKO 9th

Margarito- W- UD L- weight difference

Conclusion: Both wins are impressive respectively, but shouldn't be compared, imo. Considering current state of the fighters including skills and experience and the divisions they are fighting at.

    Your a joke!!

    3. do you think margaritos style is more suited to marquez or pacquiao?

    4. if they fought right now, would you expect marquez to beat margarito?

give me a real analysis if you call yourself a proper boxing fan!!

pac vs marg hands down, outweighed by 17lbs against a 3 time
world champ, yes he's slower but lets be real here there are only
few boxers at the ww division that will be faster or as fast as pac.
coming off a recent loss? so what? pac lost to morales but look at
where he is now. Tailor made? sure, just as katsidis is tailor made for
    jmm.

what a big idiot you are. i'll answer numbers 3 and 4 if that would help you sleep at night.

    3. margo's style suits pac's and jmm's styles differently. jmm finds success with margo's high volume output plus a weak defense, counters him all day. he's faster, smarter, and throws great combinations. if not for the size disparity, jmm would have a field day carving up margo's face.

    4. man you really are stupid comparing oranges and apples. if they fought right now, jmm would lose. then again you guys always say weight doesn't matter right? it's all about the skills. tell me then, how sure are you that jmm defeats margo? i say, given the circumstances right now, my opinion is that jmm loses to a much bigger margo.

tell me einstein, do my answers or your answers to these questions make them FACTS as you claim?

    for your reference btw:

    fact–noun

    1. something that actually exists; reality; truth
    2. something known to exist or to have happened
    3. a truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true
    4. something said to be true or supposed to have happened

    read it and understand it.

you really have no idea why i said the things i said do you? :patsch

your calling me an idiot because i 'compared oranges and apples'?? i didnt compare them at all! the guy who asked the question did so i was giving an analysis based on FACTS!!! Of course marquez would be expected to lose!! thats why it would be a better win than pac v marg if marquez did actually fight and beat him. the facts are that marquez would get hit far too often against margarito because he isnt as fast getting in and out as pacquiao is. he would counter him but he isnt anywhere near as strong as pacquiao is, especially at LMW, so marg would just walk through them.

the guy asked what would be the better win? Pac v Marg or Marquez v Marg? You have just agreed with me that marquez would definately be expected to lose to Marg right now so in essence, you are agreeing with me that it would be a better win than pac beating him, right? :hey SEE?!! YOU ARE ARGUING WITH ME ABOUT SOMETHING WE BOTH AGREE ON!!!

FACT: Marquez is far too slow to evade Margaritos punches. Do you disagree?

FACT: Marquez looked a lot slower at 145 than at LW so he would be even slower at 150. Do you disagree?

FACT: Marquez is not strong enough to battle it out with Margarito so he would have to try to outbox him and stay away for 12 rounds, which would inevitably mean keeping on his toes. He is 37 and hasnt even fought at 147, never mind LMW so it is highly unlikely that he will be able to keep it up for 12 rounds. Do you disagree?
