The cage fighter at least had elite ''striking'' power in his respective sport.

All of these Mickey Mouse fights are bad for boxing. You kind of expect it from a grifter like Fury but it’s disappointing a legend like Usyk has taken this path. He most certainly doesn’t need the money and it doesn’t do anything for his legacy. Or the sport.

Leave this stuff for human garbage like Jake Paul.

There isn't much criticism. Why is this thread about Usyk and Fury when Joshua is doing almost back to back circus fights?

Was AJ a world champ when he did his fight w/ Paul? Yes or no? That answers your question.

And I was just calling out your BS that fans justified that fight as good. No one did. Everyone knew it was garbage. If people were OK with i, it's because we al knew Jake would get KTFO. Hell man, you should be thanking AJ for that fight rather then desperately looking for any reason to hate on him in a thread not about him.

Usyk requested this farce against a 1-0 opponent be for the WBC title. He specifically requested it be for the title!

Fury earned his stripes against Wlad and wilder, but was fanning about the whole way through.

Usyk earned his hw stripes against AJ and fury and now wants to fanny about.

    Devils advocate mode:
Maybe usyk is just a higher level of grifter and waited for the right moment to show it?

Usyk is the number one heavyweight in boxing, and has titles to defend against rightful challengers.

AJ isnt even a champion and him being a top 6 heavyweight at all is debatable, and he has zero obligations.

    The difference is pretty clear.

I find them both about the same, but Fury was nearer his prime, had done less accomplishments, and was 35 years old.

Usyk is nearing the end, had relatively cleaned out the top of his division, and is 39 years old.

I think there's more of a pass to Usyk but its negligible.

    Hi Buddy.
Not sure about Jake Paul being human garbage, that aside, your right it has gone MM, it's now a circus and the clowns are being sent in, the slippery slope started not that long ago, but it is now picking up speed, don't be surprised if a WWF wrestler finds his way into the professional boxing ring sometime soon, I gave up watching a long time ago, and it's only getting worse, shame.....
    stay safe guys, chat soon.
    Mike.

Nope. Ring no longer recognized Fury. And many view lineal as nonsense

Depends how Usyk looks. If he handles Verhoeven like Mayweather handled that kickboxer he fought, ok, fair enough.

Fury got knocked down twice and won by an ass hair.
