After Hatton, Arum wants the ‘Pacman’ to square off with Miguel Cotto of Puerto Rico, the reigning WBO welterweight champion.

Arum believes a Pacman-Cotto fight is much bigger than fighting the retired Floyd Mayweather Jr., who dealt Hatton his only loss.

on the other hand the fight between floyd vs jmm was just announced.

Both deserve alot of respect but Marquez taking on the real pfp champ in floyd blows through the roof.. Marquez is a warrior and that's what warriors do. Take on the best.

the Pac-Cotto talk out of Arum's mouth is old news and he's just putting it out there.

If Pac and PBF win, there is zero doubt that they will be the next fight. Arum may try to use the Cotto fight as some negotiating leverage, but at the end of the day Pac-Mayweather is a bigger fight that will gross a lot more money than any other fight imaginable.

Pac would get more respect of course but you won't hear people shitting on Cotto for fighting Pacquaio.

If Pac beats Hatton than he has clearly proven his ability with the bigger guys to a degree, whereas Marquez showed a few bad signs upon moving up to 135. Beating Cotto would be legend territory.

Your poll doesn't make sense then..

It should be Pac/Cotto and MArquez/Floyd..

They are both smaller guys moving up. Now it's comparable.

TO answer ur question, of course Pacman/cotto it bigger than Floyd/marquez.

Pac is taking on the bigger man while Floyd is picking on the smaller one.

This question is so ****in flawed, and does nothing but prove what you Floyd fans have been saying all along. He is definitely the most hated dude around...

I mean, how you gonna set up a poll that compares the respect that people would give a smaller guy for moving up versus a large guy for moving down?

    Why don't you ask...

Who gets the most respect, De La Hoya for fighting Floyd, or Floyd for fighting JMM...

And you're right. Ain't none of these Cotto queens gonna complain about the thought of Cotto (much bigger than May on fight night) fighting against Pac, who can barely make it UP to 140.

    I bet you he wouldn't.

    Arums making him do it!

Floyd did it with Marquez, so it's okay for Cotto to do it!!

I can see that **** now.
