I think from a stylistic standpoint it may be Marquez, although I know many will say Pacquiao would be a tougher fight. What do you think?:think

Let's say a catchweight, about 143 maybe? Not 147, a bit below that. Marquez nor Pacquiao will fight at 147 with him. Roach already said he'd want it below WW. Probably something close to whatever Marquez and Mayweather are negotiating.

Pacquaio no doubt. the southpaw stance already makes it a tougher fight then Marquez.

Either fight will be at least a pound below 145 I think.

    as of right now
anything less than 140 JMM,140 and above Pacman,
mainly due to Pacman's body has shown to grow properly above and he still carries his great physical attributes.

But I see what your saying though from a stylistic standpoint however its JMM. JMM's weakness is getting caught into the moment and fighting the other fighters fight in a brawl, Floyd wont brawl at all.

I'm thinking Marquez's tactical style might give Floyd a bit tougher fight compared to Pac's more aggressive style.

Anyone know what Marquez weighed on fight night with Diaz?

Pac won't fight Floyd at 147, or I should say Roach won't. He already said he would want to get Floyd below that at a catch weight which I imagine is close to what the possible Mayweather/Marquez fight would be at.

Good point. Floyd struggles with southpaws.

Weight isn't an issue if the fight is any where below 147. Floyd has had trouble with southpaws since his amateur days, and early professional career. Reggie Sanders even kept Floyd at bay albeit it was Floyd's second fight lol. Corley and Judah gave Floyd serious problems at one point during their fights. Floyd does eventually break down southpaws, but they do give him more trouble than orthodox fighters. Only a Dlh who weighed in at 154 gave Floyd trouble, and he fought Floyd at his best weight rather than come to 147 and fight Floyd. Pac gives Floyd the tougher fight right now, but if J.M.M was in his prime moving up, I'd have to think about it.

True, but Pac only weighed a pound and a half more for the ODLH fight than he did against Diaz which was at 135 (coming into the ring of course.)

JMM weighed 140 for the Juan Diaz fight and Pac weighed 148 1/2 for ODLH but he also weighed 147 for D. Diaz.

stylistically, pac would give more trouble to mayweather than JMM. his speed and power combined in an aggressive attack style will always be a threat to mayweather more than JMM's counterpunching
