Don't see a poll, am I supposed to? I prefer buying boxing cards, but I'm sure most enjoy MMA. MMA tends to stack their cards more, I'm just a bigger boxing fan!
Right now, MMA. Being a boxing fan is mainly about talking about Prime and exposed and *******s and catch weights and PRIME Tyson!11
MMA Puts on Better cards then a Boxing card its the truth. But I like me a Good Boxing main event to a Good MMA Main event.
I guess if you were into both, then MMA would probably take it, owing to its more unified structure and PPVs. I don't like MMA, though, so I'd still rank 3 minutes of shitty boxing above 3 hours of UFC.
I'm a boxing fan, but MMA cards in general are usually better. From the top down they're usually very watchable whereas most boxing cards are just padding with maybe one interesting undercard fight.
neither gives good PPV. Going down to the pub or casino is the way to go. PPV is the biggest con ever.
MMA easily does better PPVs. Boxing needs to step it up and continue to improve the undercards. Not by stacking it with easy KO fights, just by matching better quality opponents without it being the main event.
Boxing. I dont like MMA so would get no value out of it, just dont find it entertaining at all, cant get into it the way i instantly did with Boxing as a kid.
Sadly MMA. the monopolies of strikeforce and ufc let people stack the **** out of their cards. most ppv boxing cards are a joke
1 maybe 2 big fights with maybe 4 under carded fights that wont be shown in there entirely or shown at all. also promotors cutting up the fight game unlike the mma promotions as they can only grow and will make the bigger fights to generate interest. boxing is losing it's grassroots following. i think it lost it in the mid 90's where it was a sort of.....where am i going with this to the question tage....yes tage i agree cool make a new paragraph and write in it. fine i will point is mma will have less beuracracy so it's easier to arrange bigger fights for less pay and bigger cards. so if a non fan was to buy an event one would buy mma. you know your going to get a ko and you are not going to get a long arse fight. 3X5 mins round will tire the less athletic and will lead to a stationary target. it's simpler. ever tried to explain why you are scoring points to a certain fighter.....using a 10 point system but you cant go under 6 points :huh
