Who gives more VALUE PPV Boxing or MMA?

I'm not a big MMA fan but I have watched it a few time and I think they match fighters way better than boxing does.

Then again, I have never paid for a MMA PPV so I never felt short changed. I have bought countless boxing PPV's and been ****ed off when it ended.

It's so easy for the MMA guys to find a couple of nobodies to throw onto a card and it's accepted. That's why they have like 7 fights per card. Based on sheer numbers, there should be one highlight reel KO, which is what people pay for.

Boxing cards are held to a much higher standard, therefore they seem to dissapoint more often.

 

I like both but I'm a boxing guy first. This year has been a good year for MMA, while 2010 has been a terrible boxing year. Iv'e seen some garbage cards for both sports, but right now MMA is surpassing boxing....for now.

MMA and it isn't close; ever see two meaningful title fights on a boxing PPV? Every MMA card has a better undercard than any boxing PPV I have ever seen.

 

MMA undercards don't have nobodies, they always have at least 1 meaningful fight in the rankings, 1 match designed to be entertaining, and are just generally superior to boxing undercards, which are just full of meaningless fluff.

And Sandra Bullock movies are produce too such a high standard that's why they disappoint. We just cant understand their brilliance cause our minds are too feeble
Go Kart drivers drive to such a high standard they are to good for Formula One and ythe big teams cant produce a car good enough for them
Amature gymnasts are so good that the Olympic Judges wouldn't know how to Judge to such a high standard
Anyway....in an MMA card Im excited to see at least one of the fights on the undercard, when televised, let alone the main card.
Aside from the Super 6, I cant think Ive been truely excited by a boxing card for a while

 

UFC has better PPV undercards although they are often overhyped. But I would take boxing over MMA in terms of better overall value for my money's worth. You need $800+ to watch all the UFCs legally. Boxing puts on huge fights on premium cable, the UFC hasn't had big fight on cable tv since 2007 (Jackson-Henderson).

 

boxing ppv's are a joke, as are the undercards and the fans who buy them. boxing has improved but the con is still on.

imagine if dana white put on haye vs harrison and with 5 weeks to go there was undercard finalised.

even if an mma card has no big names on it, the fighters will come to fight. in boxing they'll do something gay like get 12 rounds under their belt against a scared journeyman.

I never buy fight cards...but if I did I'd choose MMA.

Boxing still has the best matchups at the top level but MMA cards are always much better.

 

I don't have the same anticipation for MMA as I do for boxing.Boxing is an event where as MMA is getting incredibly repetitive and seems to be going down the same path as the WWE did.Overkill and pure greed.
Give me boxing anyday,despite their poor efforts on the undercard.

 

You mean the UFC........ Recent UFC PPV's have been very questionable.

 

This is because promoters and some fighters are simply getting far too greedy. They want more money so it goes on PPV. I havent paid for a boxing PPV since Mike Tyson quit the sport. Theres no way in hell im paying for ANY fighter that doesnt offer the consistent value for money like Tyson did.
Those days were legendary to me. A packed house to the early hours of the morning, drink and a Mike Tyson KO. Best past time ever.
