Maybe I miscounted. Yap did it again. 120 seems correct, making it exactly avr. 3 rounds/fight!
Good work with Wilder! I mentioned him in another thread along with Tyson.

Counted Tyson twice. Believe it or not, he got until Spinks included (prime) exactly 120 rounds too. Thats 3.5 rounds/opponent.

You can countdown for the Wilder comment stating how bad his opp. was, avaraging that accomplishment within 40 wins....

I already answered you. ..Yes George is the man for that kind of a mission. You are correct.
I'm not sure what you are trying to prove ?

Oh there we're a couple of threads about him lately, this and that, how awful he was.
So I asked myself how awful he was in a direct comp.
Seemed he was a H2H ATG puncher in his prime, only Tyson and Wilder next to hin.

Well I dont think you will ever find a post where I for one , have said BGF Is awful .
He had destructive powers , of that there is no doubt.
My only point is ( I feel) he is overrated ( overall)... but I take your point in the context that you have made it and I agree .

Its often just the way storys are expressed, not the substance of the debate. Better a proper luridness, than a lackluster nod-debate. Fine then!

To be honest, I think he´s overrated H2H too and I was curious to hear arguments against his accomplishments in a direct comp.

    My argument would be:

You have an very agressive fighter, who possessed the chin*power plus size over most of his victims, to simply get away with alot of flaws. I see Frazier eventually easier to push over than moving Norton and Chuvalo. Chuvalo certainly proved raw power.
But the way he fought, wouldn´t work the same way against bigger fellows like Wilders and Tysons opposition for example. So I see him to unpolished against

    a) raw power coming back at him with that open style (for example I disagree the way he´s favored againast Tyson, Ibeabuchi or Tua)
    b) movers like Tucker, Biggs, Thomas, Maskaev, Tubbs etc.

I don´t think he´d make the 3 rounds/fighter in Wilders feet. But to be honest, I´m not sure I see Tyson doing either. But the difference isn´t that big, he´d go pretty far with alot of KOs too.

    Lol I get you
For what it's worth though , I would take most versions of BGF against Tua
And as much as I have a soft spot for Biggs , I would've hidden behind the sofa if he'd climbed in a ring with BGF .
