The only one here in the whole equation with balls is PAC.

PAC takes on a high risk & low reward in Mosely as a win will be incredibly difficult & rationalised as being over a faded legend should it come off.. Also Mosely's profile is lackluster and the pay will be average.

Mayweather is chasing a smaller guy taken beyond his optimal weight range, but with enough P4P credibility to make it *seem* like an epic win. Will get bragging rights over PAC by beating the guy he couldn't..

Marquez is chasing a massive reward with zero risk as nobody expects him to win. If he does, instant legend.

Mosely is simply chasing money..at his age he has nothing to lose and everything to gain by beating the P4P champ.

 One of the few posters who can go to the second level of analysis.

You did mention that JMM is a red Herring for Floyd

    +1

if Pac fights Mosley at 147, then he wins the biggest balls championship

Pretty much Pac's situation against DLH was a couple of fights ago.

No doubt JMM has the tougher task here and for the same reason I don't think he will come through like Pac did.

actually, his analysis is wrong. If Marquez loses to Floyd, then he instantly is shut out of the Pacquiao sweepstakes and is stuck fighting guys like Valero and Amir Khan. If Marquez avoids Floyd and fights someone easy like Valero, he is practically guaranteed a shot at Pacquiao in a trilogy that was probably gonna happen anyways after his win over Diaz.

So JMM is taking a HUGE RISK especially considering all the disadvantages he will be facing in the ring. Its high reward, but even higher risk. Much higher risk than everyone else. If Pacquiao loses to Mosley, he can still fall back on PBF or Marquez whom i'm sure would be more than happy to fight him anyways

And if you consider that Marquez is probably making less money than Pac, Mosley, or Mayweather... its isn't even that high a reward.

No doubt..Floyd will beat beat him. But having said that there is some risk for Floyd here. JMM is a freak and who knows what he could do. But there is no doubt in my mind that Floyd thinks this is an easy fight for him. He would not have taken it if otherwise.

It's high reward. He will stand to make trillions (exaggeration) if he gets past Floyd. (rematch with Floyd for one).

you also have to factor in the actual payday though. No doubt he is making less than the other 3

actually have they come out with figures for his purse yet?

    Not that I know of.

Personally I think JMM is class and would take on the task for the purest of reasons. But I still see this as a very attractive option for him in every way...

If I had to rank the 'balls' :rofl being shown here I'd do it like this..

    PAC
    JMM
    PBF
    Mosely...

And what makes you think hes in the Pac sweepstakes to begin with? You have money right here with Floyd NOW, he doesnt have to wait for money (Pac). In all honesty this is what JMM wants. One big payday.

Whether he wins or loses, sort it later and take whats on the table. You just mentioned that even if Pac loses the equation with Floyd and JMM still holds.

the equation still holds with the winner, not the loser
