Manny without question... Floyd's defense is so good he never gets hit.

Manny demonstrates his chin more by being hit more, but it doesn't mean it's better. The shots Mayweather took from Mosley differ from any Manny took from Mosley, so you can't do a direct comparison as I see a lot trying to do. They have not received the same punch under the same circumstances by the same fighter around the same time period to give a real comparison. As another poster pointed out, this isn't **** but fans of one side trying to one up the other.

Both have great chins. I would say that Pac has an ATG chin, while Floyd has a legendary chin.

Pac has been KO'd brutally by a shot to the chin by Torrecampo.

Pac has been floored by a jab against Huessien.

Pac chin got whacked hard quite a few times by a near 40 year old LW fighting at WW, it held, but Pac visibly needed to shake them off.

Floyd has been dazed by Mosley twice in a single round.

Floyd has been knocked off balance by shots from Corley and Judah. His glove touched the canvas against Judah.

    ---

The most valid point would be that Pacquiao shows his off more by getting hit square in the chin more than Mayweather does.

    Floyd got rocked by Mosley.

Manny got rocked by Marquez (2nd fight)

Both got solid chins, Manny can take huge punches, Floyd can recover fast.

lol! cant you figure out? We are not talking here about young kid Pacquaio decades ago. Pac being the much smaller fighter than Floyd who took punches from the like of Cotto, Clottey, Mosley and Margarito without flinching say a lot of his chin.

Any poll involving both Floyd and Manny around here should just read : "who are you a fan of?"

    Agreed.

Pac's chin has been tested more often.

Floyd's left shoulder is certainly sound.

Pacquiao's is more proven because of styles, so you'd have to play percentages and vote for him I guess, but it's close.

We know Pacquaio has a great chin, because his style and defensive skills leave him open to be hit cleanly.

Floyd is much more difficult to judge, his style and brilliant variety of defensive moves mean that we've seldom seen him under heavy fire. This is to his credit, what we can say is that when he has been rarely hit clean, his chin has held up fine.
