    Dead on.

I think Manny' s chin is better, but mayweather harder to ko. You can catch Pac doing something crazy and hurt him.

Floyd, well you can hurt him once and that's about it. After that he doesn't let you land that same punch again.

    Cotto
    Mosley
    Clottey
    150lb Margarito

ALL landed solidly on Pac, one even causing Pac's eardrums to bleed (Cotto).
Watch 'em fights and see for yourself.

Harder to even KD as we saw in FMJ vs Mosley.

I watched them and not one of them hit him half as cleanly as Mosley hit Floyd. You find me a gif showing him hit cleanly on the Chin or point out exactly what second of what round these supposedly heavy shots landed and I will reconsider my opinion upon second viewing, but I didn't see him get blasted with anything that good. Whenever he decides to aquiesce to Floyd's demands we will have a great idea of how solid his Chin is at WW because it will be sorely tested.

manny has taken way more solid shots than floyd obviously due to the style difference so not quite sure who has the better chin. only one way to find out. and that one way will never happen sadly...

The anwser to this isn't really debatable. However anytime you have mayweather people will find excuses to vote for the other guy. Throw pac in the mix and the excuses and pure lack of boxing knowledge goes off the charts. On one side you have a fighter who has never been stopped and was only down once and it come after he broke his hand dropped the hand low and it touched the canvas. On the other hand you have a guy that was knocked out twice and should have been a third time.

However the whole thing doesn't matter, none of this would play a role in who would win if they ever fought.

Ps floyd never fought andrew six heads lewis.

    ****ing *******s

So you don't think defense has anything to do with it.

Come one, Pac's defense is FAR behind Floyds, he takes way more punches flush.

When Floyd gets caught flush, and that is rare, he gets stunned. He recovers, but he gets bothered. Hatton bothered him, Castillo did, Mosely sure the hell did.

Pac gets caught flush, and he walks through it. He gets caught flush a few times and he gets hurt.

By this logic, Mayweather has a better chin than Chavez.....

This is a no brainer, even for the most ardent fans of Floyd.

The brutal combo Pac took against Cotto early in their fight was ****ing brutal and he walked past it like the ****ing terminator that's all I gotta say

There's a reason why Sr instigated the PED rumors after the fight:deal

Pacquiao's style has meant he has had to take more shots during his career, he also takes cleaner shots more regularly. Very, very good chin. That basically sums it up, it is tried and tested. Ignore the people who look bring up the, "He has been knocked out" crap.

Mayweather also has a very good chin. People look towards the shots that have had him hurt to discredit his durability, they also look to the single shots that have had him in trouble. But then completely disregard the shots he has taken from big punchers like Judah (he took a very, very powerful looking uppercut in the early rounds and kept coming) and Mosley (not just the punches in the second round) and he has walked through. People will contradict themselves in one post with Mayweather and say things like, "Mayweather was getting tagged and was hurt"...then go on to say..."Mayweather's defense is that good that he doesn't get tagged clean often, but when he does he gets hurt". Doesn't make sense to me. :conf

The above two posts sum it up for me.

Not enough to really go on to say one has a definitively better chin than the other. Anyone saying Floyd's chin is worse isn't basing it on reality. There is absolutely nothing to suggest Floyd has a less than completely sound chin.

    How lazy can you get?

Pac vs Cotto has this all over the place, EVEN MOMENTS BEFORE THE 2nd KD.
Clottey's solid uppercuts were also connecting almost at a 100% rate on Pac. THEY WERE REALLY HARD UPPERCUTS, mind you.
Margarito, everytime Pac gets tangled on the rope and decides to brawl and not get back to the center, Margarito will land 1 or 2 solid shots. Even watching the highlights alone will reveal this.
    Mosley, watch round 1-3 FFS.

Are you freaking blind or something?

Maybe you were expecting Pac to get wobbled or cover up like Floyd, NOW THAT is something you won't see.
Beacuse even though he just got hit, Pac will continue with his counter or bang his gloves and be on the offensive himself.
Don't let his granite chin fool you though. He was taking huge punishment.

Not sure who said that, but if someone wanted to make a case, they probably could. I've never seen Floyd flattened by a punch, but I sure have seen Rockgloves beaten down and knocked out. Just because Rockgloves is also known as The Tijauana Punching Bag and Floyd is known for his defense doesn't mean Rockgloves definitely has a better chin. Show me a clip of a punch knocking Floyd down and I'll change my opinion.
