I think Bradley's chin deteriorated more while manny will suffer a lasting psychological effect

Pac had a comfy nap at the end of his last fight.

PAC. The general consensus is Bradley took more punishment over a longer period of time, but winning has a strange way of making the lumps and bumps, not feel as bad. PAC was out cold, and that plays more into your psyche, not to mention getting KO'd the way he did, is a near death experience, and although he's been there before, it gets harder to come back from it.

Timmy. Sustained beating is the worst.

Tim. Manny has been KO'd before, and if he couldn't psychologically recover from KO losses, his career would have been over a long time ago. With the exception of the first Morales fight and the Margarito fight, he's managed to avoid taking too much punishment in most of his fights. He's eaten some shots, but he's never taken a beatdown really. If Manny had stayed on his feet and Marquez just hammered him for 12 rounds, I'd say that'd be worse. Also, had he not charged into that punch and then clunked his head on the canvas, I don't think he'd have been KO'd. I think his head hitting the canvas was what finished him off and turned the lights out. That was a surprisingly hard second impact.

Bradley I think got the worst of it. Taking big punches for 12 rounds while concussed is never a good thing. Marquez and Manny are both lucky their last fight did not last long, because both men left with concussions, and staying in there for 12 rounds eating shots with concussions is never a good thing.

Damn this **** is close lol

Pac's been ko'ed before but not literally put to SLEEP like his last fight.. I don't know how much real damage that collision did but there's examples from both ends of the spectrum- Jones, Walcott, and then there's guys like PWill who also got tucked in by Serg and was still competing pretty well

Bradley's case, for some reason I think that trying to think/force yourself while you're in a concussive/wobbled state amplifies the damage. Look at many of the great defensive artists who had brain problems, and then look at LaMotta

Bradley, absolutely. He got a sustained pounding (from a big puncher) for 12 rounds. Pac got stopped with one perfectly placed shot.

Yeah fighters usually aren't the same after taking the kind of punishment Bradley took. Some fighters have been pretty successful after getting knocked out cold (Hearns, Duran).
