Im just curious. When I was a kid before I discovered Tiger Beat, teen beat and 16 (which i bought while also buying Boxing Illustrated, International Boxing, World Boxing, Ring Magazine and KO Magazine, LOL), I used to read a lot about these two guys on Ring Magazine En Espanol...

So as the question reads, who had the better career and in fact, who was better among these two, according to you?

Panama Al Brown. He was BW champion for 6 years, compared to Kid Chocolate's 2 years as SFW champion.

Brown is a consensus top 10 BW of all time (I rank him #6), he dominated the divison for the thick end of a decade.

Kid Chocolate began his career with a brilliant, long unbeaten run, but when he fought the best - Berg (who tbf was bigger), Canzoneri, Battalino and LaBarba - he began to lose.

Al Brown no doubt. Greg Price has nailed it concisely.
