You can't seem to read. I said, repeatedly that they aren't as far apart as you make it seem. Then I used something called FACTS to support my claim, which was that Foreman was down 4 times, Lewis was down 2, Foreman lost to exhaustion 2, Lewis lost to exhaustion once.

None of this is wrong even in the slightest.

Why would I vote on a poll where you're essentially mocking one of the two fighters, what purpose would that serve? But just to make you happy I did vote that I thought Foreman would beat Lewis by KO on the other thread you started.

I'm also one of a very few, who think Foreman would have beat Ali either in a rematch or maybe even in the first fight, if the ropes had been tightened properly. Ali himself said he was out on his feet in that fight, and George missed a lot of punches, particularly to the head, as a result of those ropes.

Focus is no excuse for going down via one big shot to the face. You have to be an idiot to feel Tyson had any focus in his defeats to douglas, Lewis where he came in with a complete lack of preparation.

Did he go down via one big shot to the face even when he was unable to see out of one eye?

Lennis chin deserves the mockery it gets

More excuses and lol sweet spot and Lewis excuses of this being the heavy weight division. Fact is he was just not tough enough compared to others. Without his size, weight and reach advantage, he would have been another regular boxer.

You can make as many excuses as you want for lenni against McCall and rahman. Point is that it is locked into the history books where he got whacked in the face and he went down like an over protected girl.

The likes of Tyson, holyfield were hit by very hard punches in terrible positions, postures but still stood up.

Reading some of these posts really has given me the giggles. Yes, Foreman had the better chin. But, Lewis was the better champion and goes down as the better champion in the history books.

No he does not. Oldest hw champion in history and he won it again 20 years later after he was 10 years retire, and won by ko.he did beat the first two men that did beat ali, ken norton and joe frazier a top 8 hw of all time in his 20s undefeated and foreman won by brutal beating. Lewis lost his belt against 2 average fighters by brutal ko.foreman lost his belt against the best hw ever

Fair enough, we are all entitled to our opinion. But, most people have Lewis somewhere around the top 4 with Louis, Ali and Holmes.

I agree that h2h Lewis should be favoured over Foreman.

But Foreman's chin > Lewis chin. I can't see the debate here.

Foreman totally! Gassed in Zaire with all the other BS which we won't mention. Lewis got clocked not once but twice. No one did that to Foreman.
And Pa-lease don't bring up Lyle. Pre-Ali George would have had Lyle on ***** street inside of five minutes.
    Next thread please...:D

Not really. Lenni if he came back in his 40's and 50's would not be able to show the results George did in his 40's and 50's. Foreman should be ranked higher than Lewis.

I'm not sure if you're referring to me but l've answered this question repeatedly and consistently, which is that the answer is Foreman but it's a closer call than some think and that factually speaking Foreman was down more times in his career than Lewis was. People can justify it anyway they want but they can't change that it's factually correct.

I'm actually a huge fan of both fighters but l do admit to being perplexed as to why Foreman gets a pass for his stamina issues and yet Lewis doesn't get a pass for his failure to climatize for the elevation in South Africa especially given his decisive win in the rematch and the fact that fighters who actually fought there said he couldn't make it past 6 rounds given his failure to climatize. That aside, l'd rate Lewis' chin a 7/10 and Foreman's an 8 or 8.5 as l still don't think it's Holyfield or Ali elite.
