That draw wasn't part of any reign at 160, which is what this thread is about. It was avenged. GGG got himself a lawsuit instead of revenge for his draw.

 That's because Hopkins failed to win the title. Stop digging.

    1) There's no lawsuit
    2) I wish there was because it would be thrown out of court
    3) Oscar is still going on about fighting GGG in September
    4) Clenelo is nothing without his peds. At least Mercado was ped-free when he dumped Hops on his ass twice and drew with him.

Still, it's difficult to call DLH one of Hopkins top wins at 160, when Goldy had no wins himself at 160.

Hopkins stopped De la Hoya and Trinidad. Golovkin went life and death with Canelo, a guy Mayweather toyed with. You're insane!

Hopkins doesn't have 20 defenses, he has 19 because of the NC with Allen

Well, except for Jones ... and Mercado ... and his debut at LHW ... oh, yeah, and getting splattered by Taylor wasn't so hot either.

Well Jones is Jones, not many would of been favoured to beat that RJJ in their first title shot.

The draw with Mercado is regarded as a robbery hence why the rematch was ordered. Not a great performance by BHop but he fought at short notice at altitude and still should of got the decision.

As for BHops debut, he himself said he trained on a diet of cheeseburgers for that fight hence why he came in at light heavy, he came in out of shape and didn't take his first fight as seriously as he should have.

My point being that NoNeck is demonstrably wrong in this regard. Hopkins being out of shape is a reflection on his lack of preparation as a fighter. That's part of the total package. Golovkin has yet to be beaten and he's ancient in boxing terms.

GGG hasn’t even become undisputed so how can I compare his run, not to mention in regards to unbeaten MW title run his first 10 fights were defending a regular belt and we don’t count that is a major title.
