Who had a better MW title reign: Hopkins or Golovkin?

there are several elites on hopkins resume at mw though, and zero elites on 3G's until he fight Canelo.

thats said, we need to wait till 3g is finished. maybe he will fight a string of half a dozen elites to suprise us all before he retires, although hes not yet fought one all his life. we just dont know.

Same could be said about Hopkins in his 160 career.

His best wins where a blown up welter and a guy who started out at 130.

 

Danny Jacobs is arguably on par with Taylor.

Taylor has one named opponent in Hopkins, he lost everytime he stepped up since.

It's not that Taylor is so great, it's that Taylor was the first opponent Hopkins had fought since RJJ who was his own size and a true athlete.

It's says alot more about B-Hops reign than it does how "great" Taylor was.

 

And what did Taylor do after beating Hopkins?

Vanderpool was bigger than Hopkins and was utterly dominated.

 

He was IBF MW Champ just two years ago. When was Jacobs ever a legit MW Champ? Never.
