ah the insults I predicted emerge.

good luck with that, its all u got left to stand on. just remember you brought it on yourself for arguing contender Jacobs is on par wit undisputed champ, 2-weight titlist, Olympic silver medallist Jermaine taylor. next time, DON'T.

    easy work, g'nite.

    LOL

Weak arse argument, you started tge insults yet run away and cry like the mental midget that you are.

2 division titlist, lovely I'm a fan of Taylor but being a titlist in 2 weight divisions doesn't make you elite.....hell Ricky Burns is a better fighter going by that logic.

Bye bye HerolTurd......quit whilst you can.

Well he is the lineal champ... Beat the man who beat the man.
Altho i can see an argument for "he vacated", which i wont debate.
I dont really care. Especially now that Canelo is scheduled to fight Golovkin.

Sounds like even the Canelistas will have to recognize GGG as The Man at 160 after this.

Technically that's correct but Sturm was ducking his WBA mandatory Golovkin from winter 2009/2010 on until he lost the WBA-Superbelt vs Geale in 2012. He even paid the WBA to make him superchamp to avoid Golovkin.
He made the unification with Geale to avoid Golovkin too.

At least around January 2011 Golovkin should have been recognized as the only and real WBA champ. That would mean GGG has 17 defenses of the belt at the moment so he could reach Hopkins next year

Give it 15 years, see how Proksa, Rosado, Rubio and the like are remembered.

Advantage goes to Hopkins right now for me. Glen Johnson, Trinidad, Oscar, Joppy, Holmes, and John David Jackson are a better top 6 wins than Jacobs, Lemeiux, Geale, Murray, Macklin, and Brook. Canelo would be a more than fine addition.

Poll as of now is 51 Hopkins, 34 Golovkin... I feared the opposite. Good to see everyone hasn't gone full loon, haha.

I disagree that Golovkin has more solid scalps. He doesn't. Most of the people saying that dumb **** were probably in their diapers still back during the 90s. Golovkin has a hell of a lot of soft defenses. Hopkins had a group of guys that were mostly tough blue collar opponents, not glamour opponents like over rated Lemeiux or that bum Stevens, but real blue collar guys like Echols, Allen, Holmes Johnson, etc.
