De La Hoya isn't one of his strongest wins though. That's simply commentary from somebody who doesn't seem to know **** about Hopkins opponents during the 90s. Not many people think that the De La Hoya that Hopkins fought would have beaten the Echols, Allen, Holmes, etc. De La Hoya shouldn't have gotten the decision against Felix Sturm's weak arse.

I disagree. Tito was 5'11, and beating up or destroying ranked middleweights. The blown up welter crap doesn't make it. And De La Hoya, wasn't one of Hopkins best wins at middleweight. He was the best name value win, but probably not in the top five or six as far as ability at the weight class. If that De La Hoya is getting pieced up by Sturm, what would Echols, Holmes, Allen, etc. have done to De La Hoya? De La Hoya would have lost to several of Hopkins middleweight opponents.

No, Tito beat up exactly ONE ranked middleweight - Joppy. This was likely with loaded gloves we should remember. It was in his next fight vs hopkins that brother nazim caught him with tape directly applied to the skin, far too much tape applied, and wraps dunked in cold water. Weighting the wraps like this (not to mention the tape on skin as first layer) is arguably much more dangerous than plaster in the gloves.

Tito was smoked by Winky in his other MW fight...

Hopkins resume at MW is pretty light (no fault of his own, we know he'll fight anybody!). Gotta ride with GGG on this.

    LOL

Glen Johnson was awful at 160 and 168.

He had only 8 victories over people with winning records in 32 fights prior to the Hopkins fight.

freezeframe to what? why the hell?

WHEN JACOBS DELIVERS THEN U HAVE A CASE. WHEN IT HAPPENS - NOT WHEN U DREAM IT HAPPENS. This is not "my imaginary boxing forum aged seven and a half". Its a forum in the REAL WORLD.

UNTIL THEN, your imagination can do what it wants, but on here dont pretend whatever u fancy whenever u are trying to prove a case for a boxer whose name is 3G.

Just have a look at the quality of your posts....this is reflected in the amount of "likes" one has....or in your case haven't.

"quality" as dictated by someone wanting to "like" a creed of post, you mean, to be exactly precise.

So totally, I dont wrote to collect likes from the Kliturd club or such ilk, I write what I mean. Something you should try now and again, or you wouldnt have self destructed in the last thread we talked in.
