Could Tua take the punches Ruddock hit Tyson with? Did Ruddock punch harder than Ike? Could a prime Tyson have taken shots better against Lewis?

If you go off the Lewis fights I'd say Tua, in general I'd still say Tua, just without any real certainty

Tua gave hardly any effort in the lewis fight and wouldn't open up. Thats not a good comparison. Tyson was also like 60 in boxing years and took way more punishment.

Despite saying all that, id still say tua had the better chin and stamina over 12 while tyson had more fighting spirit and endurance.

    Who cares?

We might as well be asking whether Chuvalo or Tyson had a better chin!

The gulf in class is so great, that the question id irrelevant!

Tyson I would say, he was knocked out 3 times, but he was trying to win and not just survive.

Tua.Tyson had a pretty good chin though imo. Im watching old Tua fights and man he took a lot of punches.

This. Also, Tyson was 50+ fights into his career and 35 years old when he fought Lennox while Tua was 27 years old with less than 40 fights at the time, so Tua was a lot closer to his prime when he fought Lennox than Tyson was.

Tua also stopped coming forward and basically gave up. Tyson kept coming forward, and whether he gave up or not he certainly didn't pack it in like Tua did.
