Why does Lewis always get a mention in your threads?

I don't know which boxer at the moment but he was like an inferior Ali, he used lateral movements and was countering Mike Tyson.
He still lost, but he could get uppercuts on him without getting hits.

There was a particular point in time where Tyson had possibly the most fearful aura of any fighter ever - people tend to play it down now but it really was incredible..

The topic started asked about who had the most unbeatable aura and not the most fearful.

Against Ali you would know you would lose, but he wasn't really
    fearsome.

Saying Tyson had a much bigger fear factor is pretty useless as the TS didn't ask for that.

Roy Jones was rightly regarded as virtually unbeatable in his prime, and anyone trying to say otherwise is a dip**** hater who DKSAB and probably only started watching within the last few years.

That being said, Tyson wins this contest and it isn't even close. If you're too young to remember then you just can't possibly understand the reputation, the aura that Tyson had in his prime. It was completely unlike anything boxing has seen ever since.

From the halls of every midwestern American elementary school to the farthest shores of Europe and Asia, every single person in the world knew one thing: Mike Tyson was invincible, unbeatable, and to face him was to hopelessly sacrifice yourself. In the mind of the general public he was rocketing toward #1 ATG status and only prime Ali would have had a prayer against him.

When Douglas beat him it was like God had been killed. People couldn't believe it. It was the only thing anyone in the world talked about when it happened. Very few fighters before Tyson, and none since, have ever had the sort of aura he did in the late eighties.

Two of my favorite fighters ever but Tyson gets this category easily. Roy had the edge in a pound for pound best fighter sense, but Tyson had one of the strongest auras of all time.

Prime Roy gave off the aura that made fighters doubt their chances of winning. Tyson gave of an aura that had people afraid they might die in the ring.

Ah, so you didn't know that.

Where do you think Berbick, Smith, Thomas, Tucker, Spinks and Williams were rated when Tyson fought them? Not outside of the top two. If that isn't fighting the best, then provide me with some examples of what would be? Leave it to Tyson to fight the highest rated contender other than himself in 1991 as well, twice. :rofl

  15. Didn't fight Terrible Tim Either.

Holyfield was ranked just behind Tyson for 3 years, but Don says, why take one hard fight for 20 million when I can get you 5 easy fights for 10 million.

Holyfield beat any version of Tyson.
